"... the government has been shown it cannot be trusted with unlimited access to people's data and content."

Why isn't this obvious?  We all know the maxim that Absolute Power corrupts ...  So, why have we Americans continually allowed this part of our Liberty to be taken?

The latest Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change report finds that stabilizing at 2°C (3.6°F) reduces the median annual growth of consumption over this century by a mere 0.06%. You read that right, 0.06%. And that "cost" doesn't even count the economic benefit of avoiding climate catastrophe.

No. I have resigned myself to adapting because by the time it is to bad to ignore it will also be to bag to mitigate.

MIT was helping the prosecution “understand how to prosecute, what information is necessary to prosecute, but not taking steps to help them understand the limits to their prosecution,” said Lawrence Lessig, a Harvard Law School professor who was close to Swartz. “Nobody would call that neutral. That’s aiding and abetting the prosecution."

... fiscal 2015 budget request would boost U.S. tax revenues by nearly $1.4 trillion over 10 years if fully enacted, slashing deficits by $1.05 trillion while funding new spending, the Congressional Budget Office said on Thursday.

So, will the GOP believe their own CBO?  Support the budget proposal that would clearly be good for the Country?

I doubt it.

How about this from the same CBO with regard to ACA impact...
The reduction in CBO’s projections of hours worked represents a decline in the number of full-time-equivalent workers of about 2.0 million in 2017, rising to about 2.5 million in 2024.
Any democrats want to argue this is good for the country? I doubt it.

I LOVE IT!
I was a nice, Jewish girl taught to believe sex was dirty. Fifteen years after my husband died, all that changed
