Special thanks to all of the volunteers and task force members working on the committees for Her Vision of Tomorrow - our long range program and properties planning initiative. Earlier this year, the task force launched with the goal of fully assessing our programs and properties and looking for ways to enhance the Girl Scout experience with relevant, fun activities that girls will always remember. Check out these pictures of the team in action and updates: http://bit.ly/1QoFB01

17-year-old Girl Scout Gracie is making a difference in our local community with her Girl Scout Gold Award project, Feed the Need Tampa Bay. She is asking local restaurants in Tampa Bay to help feed the hungry one day a year at Trinity Cafe. Not only is she helping bring fine dining to the area's homeless population, but she is also helping alleviate Trinity Cafe's work load and costs weekly by rallying local community restaurants to help the cause. This project can help Trinity Cafe save more than $50,000 a year and feed more than 265 people a day! Amazing job, Gracie - thank you for helping make the world a better place! http://www.tampabay.com/news/humaninterest/tampa-teen-brings-fine-dining-to-area-homeless-population/2244894

Camping and outdoor activities have always been an essential part of Girl Scouting. This summer GSWCF enhanced the summer camp experience by offering two travel camps, one in the Florida Keys and the other in the Florida Panhandle where girls were able to explore caverns, visit Wakulla Springs, and tour Florida State University! Check out this blog where Girl Scout Megan shares her camping experience to the Florida Caverns. http://bit.ly/1JWc8Gd
