+Marie-Paule Graham Hello Marie-Paule, I have had a hard time getting back on Google because I did not remember my password at one point and then I stayed away from my computer for a while. Anyhow, the great news is that our Émilie is expecting a baby who is due for late September. We had comfortably settled on the idea that we would not be grand-parents, but Stéphane and Émilie decided to become parents. They married in 2012, after 13 years of courtship and decided to have a child now that they are still under 40. I look forward to hearing from you. As promised earlier, I am keeping my notes short, so we can write more often. Best, marie-Paule

Fascinating presentation around the impact of the internet on society. Seems it's not all a Cyber-Utopia.

As I research the latest article I'm writing for a client, I'm coming across so many "10 Reasons Why..." and "Five Things You Should Do If..." articles. I remember having to write a lot of that shit at school. Can't we find a more interesting ways to present our world online?

Years ago, as I was beginning to make my way as a writer in Birmingham (UK), a friend invited me to a performance her fledgling theatre company was giving as part of their final degree show. I don't remember the name of the show, but I remember being blown away by the potency of the material and the strength of performances. A decade on and Kindle Theatre have grown into +KILN ensemble, Associate Company of Birmingham Repertory Theatre. Not that there was any doubt, mind.

If you're in the UK, or indeed, will be travelling to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and are interested in cutting edge theatre, please take a look at their kickstarter and pledge to help get these very talented women and their brilliant performances to the biggest arts market place on Earth.
Proud of independent, Birmingham-made theatre? We are taking THREE 'wildly imaginative' projects to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe

Ordered a tea, a coke and some ice cream. The ice cream arrived no problem, but after waiting for 20 minutes for our drinks, we enquired. The waiter said there was a massive coffee order and it would be a further 20 minutes before we would receive our tea and coke. A couple nearby had arrived after us and received their drinks. The waiter (full-length tattoo on left arm), was very arrogant about the situation, giving us the feeling that if you don't order coffee, there's something wrong with you. We paid for ice cream only and left. I won't go again and I wouldn't recommend the place to anyone either.
