For the last night of our hooneymoon we wanted something a bit special and from the moment we walked in it was amazing the wait staff very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We had the chicken spring rolls for an appetizer the pineapple and sour dipping sauce just made the dish. For our Entrées I had the Ribs which just fell apart with the fork when you put it in was no need to cut anything and the meat just fell apart in your mouth. My husband had the Duck which was tender and cooked to perfection. For desert we went the chocolate lave cake which we had to order before our main came out as they make them fresh for each person and they take 30min to cook they were so gooey in the center and just oozed with delicious when you cracked them open. It was amazing to have such a great meal for our last night of such a special occasion!!

I thought I knew sushi before I came here, but I'vejust experienced my best sushi ever. That and the butterfish is absolutely amazing. I wouldn't say portions are large, but the quality you get of the food is unmatched. The drinks are also strong and tasty. The service was fantastic. We came here for a last dinner on our honeymoon and had a great time! I would absolutely recommend Roy's to a friend, and anyone going to Waikiki for a vacation. 5/5 easily

Delicious food and primarily made with local ingredients. Roy is a nice guy and takes pride in his business. All of his restaurants are beautiful and you will always get a top notch meal. This place can get busy so call ahead.

In my opinion, Roy's is the best restaurant on the island. They have truly mastered "Asian Fuision" cuisine here. Everything is good, from the complimentary edamame, to any of the sushi dishes, and all cooked entrees as well. The molten lava cake is a MUST-HAVE!!! Tell the waiter early in your meal if you plan on ordering it (you DO plan on ordering it...it's incredible), because it takes time for them to bake/prepare it.

Drinks are really good, I had the Wave Watcher you HAVE to have it it's fantastic and the definition of a fruity Hawaiian drink. I could drink it all day, however the food is rather too expensive for the outdoor bar experience. Lunch menu is fish only based meals. Have to get the Wave Runner...SERIOUSLY! Our barter was very friendly and great but no name tag sorry! If it helps he had highlights in his hair.

Went here for my birthday dinner. From the very first impression, everything was phenomenal. We arrived early for our reservation, and were asked if we wanted to be seated inside or outside. Not unusual for Hawaii, but was nice to have the option in such a popular place. We were asked to wait for a few minutes while they prepared our table. When being shown to the table, the seating hostess pointed out the restrooms along the way, and made sure we didn't trip down the two small steps to the indoor seating. She handed us our napkins, including getting a napkin specific for my wife's dress. The table was dressed with a "happy birthday" cone-hat. We struggled with deciding what to eat, as there were several options that both of us were extremely interested in. Our server, Evin, was very patient, and was also fantastic at describing each dish we asked about, as well as explaining some of the menu options that we weren't familiar with. Ultimately, we decided on a chicken spring roll appetizer, butterfish for myself, the signature ribs for my wife, and the chocolate souffle for dessert. Everything was fantastic. My wife's ribs were a bit messy, so if you're prone to spilling on yourself, that's a word of caution. The courses were served with a little time in between each course so that you had time to digest and really enjoy what you had just consumed. The best part was the dessert. In addition to the chocolate lava cake, they also brought out a plate that had "Happy 28th birthday Justin" written in chocolate, with a small slice of a delicious chocolate cake with raspberry (we think) sauce. In between courses, Evin spent a little extra time with us to make some recommendations of activities to do during our stay here, which was nice to have something offered up as "definitely do not miss this" from a local. Most of the time, however, he left us alone to enjoy our meal, popping in to check on us when it seemed we would need something (right after we tasted our meal, on the one occasion when our drinks were low). The busboys were efficient and unobtrusive, which was also very much appreciated. The dining area was very loud with other customers, but even so, the worst part of the whole evening was having to leave. Thank you, Roy's, for such a wonderful evening. If we ever return to Oahu, even for a long layover, we WILL be back!!

Fantastic food. The Waikiki Sashimi Plate was perfect. The service was great, staff well prepared and friendly. Great desert options too. You may need to make a reservation because it is usually busy.

Really good beach break to get food, good salad bar, the wait was a bit long even though they had plenty of open tables
