I recently worked with the Embassy Suites in the Old Market while booking a block of hotel rooms for my wedding. They were easy to deal with, got us a very fair room rate (considering that these are SUITES, so the living room's couch is an actual pullout bed, great for traveling families!), and answered all my questions via email very promptly. The best thing about this hotel is location, and because I was traveling from Phoenix and most of my guests were coming from out of state, it being walking distance from the Old Market and most of my wedding venues was an absolute plus. They offer free shuttle transportation to and from the airport as well as to almost any location in Omaha (within reason). They even organized a shuttle service to and from the Joslyn Museum for my wedding. I would absolutely work with them in the future and would recommend them to any bride looking to have an Old Market wedding.

Upon arrival I was told only 6 people were allowed in my 2 bed premium suite after 2 AM. I was told to make a list with names of people staying. When I got there later at night the attendant and manager said I had 10 people in the room and wouldn't let my sister (who was on the list) up to the room. I challenged the manager to go count the people in my room and there were only 5 of us sitting on the couch watching tv including me! Yet there was a bachelorette party next door and they said nothing to them. My sister then tried to use the front desk phone and the attendant literally pushed her and told her to get away. We were told to leave and weren't allowed to use the room yet somehow the valet that had parked my sister's car had kept the keys and tag at the end of his shift and never gave them to anyone for the night. This place is a nightmare and I was denied a refund so I WILL be disputing these charges on my credit card!

Although the hotel is not as modern as some of the newer hotels in the area, I have never been treated better! We went for our 28th anniversary. The staff was friendly and helpful. The valet comped our parking when he found out it was our anniversary. The breakfast staff was wonderful. I overheard one of the cooks talking to two small boys. She was so friendly and accommodating! I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to experience how the people in Omaha truly treat visitors!

I stayed at your hotel under a complimentary stay that was given to me. Our stay was pleasant outside of a few problems... The parking situation is atrocious. The parking is in the back of the hotel which is a little inconvenient. I was told when I checked in by the front desk attendant and by the valet parker that self parking was FREE, so I of course decided to take them up on it. I had gone out that night with a few friends and when I came back the entrance they told me to go through (that is right across the street from the parking lot) was locked and my key wouldn't let me in. I had to walk around and go through the front entrance. Your establishment should really have a sign that says that the doors lock after a certain time at night. Today, I called after noticing that your hotel charged me $12 for parking in the lot, after two people telling me it was FREE when I checked in. When I called to find out why I was being charged, the front desk attendant was of no help to the situation. The hotel should make sure all the employees are on the same page with how much parking is. I don't mind paying, but I would like to be notified if I'm being charged for something that I was told was free to begin with.

Enjoyed it immensely...the visit was a moment I will cherish forever ... thank you to the staff for the great treatment we received during our family reunion we attended this past July 2014.

Nice physical facilities and even better staff!!! I had a personal challenge and this staff went to extreme effort to assist me. I appreciated that effort. While the extra customer appreciation is deteriorating to day this facility and management still has the old time hospitality manners and appreciates your business.
