Sony A7 with Voigtlander Color Skopar 21/4P.
When converting to B&W, naturally, the magenta color cast in the corners that the 21/4P produced on the A7 (like it did on the NEX 6 before) is of no consequence.

One thing I liked about the NEX 6 - and the A7 offers the same feature - is the ease with which bracketing can be accomplished. In fact, most of the time I take three images spaced 1 EV apart with one shutter button press - always leaving me the option to create an HDR image afterwards.

Two boats got beached at Goleta Beach during the last storm. Reportedly, another sailboat broke up when it was smashed against the pier pilings. More boats got beach at East Beach in Santa Barbara; two of them, In the Moment and Walkabout, appeared to be total losses. About 1/4 of the Gaviota Pier farther up the coast was smashed by the heavy surf.

Some images I took during the 2013 Santa Barbara Solstice Parade - mostly Vanessa's Hip Brazil dance group. Here's a link to view as a slide show: http://www.flickr.com/photos/beachwalker2007/sets/72157634318067773/show/with/9135702488/
Set will be updated with new images over the next couple of days.

A little vapor and the sun at the right position results in a Thunderbird making it's own "rainbow" vapor cloud.

Same principle as Rene Magritte's famous "Ceci n'est pas une pipe" canvas - only no longer will anyone start a discussion over the fact that this is actually the image of a rose and not a rose itself - surreal!
