Find out why I loved being vegan in Dubai :)
Suraj and I thoroughly enjoyed our short stay in Dubai. We had moved home only a few days before our arrival, and were quite thrown by some of the things that happened before, during and after the move. However, this trip gave us exactly what we needed!

This trip was about relaxing, rejuvenating, walking and of course, eating. All of these boxes were ticked and I'm looking forward to visiting Dubai in the near future.

Another growing vegan business :)
Find out the connection between Lettices, meat and cheese...

I met Poppy Lettice during a recent VegFest. Poppy is bubbly, passionate, generous and eager to please her vegan (and non-vegan) customers.

The items that she had put on her stall for tasting, disappeared quite quickly, and she was given a lot of positive feedback by us tasters too!

I knew you'd want to read about the range of goodies she makes and provides, so here's an article that will tell you that and more!

Vegan options at Blue Zenzer :)
Going to Bluezenzer Cafe, Bar & Restaurant was great!

The waiter knew what was vegan and what could be veganised, and what we ordered was delicious!

We just need to go back when we've got a bigger appetite so that we can try more of their vegan options.

Vegan options in Sainsbury's :)
Do you know what's vegan in your local supermarket?

The first part of this article was about the range of vegan items in +Morrisons

The second part of this article is about what Sainsbury's has to offer those of us looking for vegan foods.

I am blown away by way supermarkets are meeting the demand for vegan produce. They are selling existing items and producing their own foods too.

I also love the way that they're improving how they label things. If the ingredients are vegan, you'll see 'suitable for vegans' and if it's been made in an area where there are non-vegan products, they'll cover this in their statement about allergens i.e. 'this many contain...'

Did you know +Sainsbury's had so many vegan products in store?

Find out what I loved about our delicious meal at Pollen Street Social :)
Not so long ago, we had our first experience of dining at a Michelin-starred restaurant! :)

Often experiencing something like this for the first time can be intimidating or scary. It was strange. It was new to us, yet it felt easy.
