Through most of the 90s, I was the Mailman for Wheel Away. I got to know the owners Bill Paul and Rick Paul…and much of the Paul clan very well. They are without exaggeration some of the kindest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. The staff at Wheel Away is the best because the Paul’s treat them like family and ensure their employees measure up to the high standards that they themselves live by. Now add customer service which is second to none and the passion for bicycles they all seem to share and it’s no wonder why Wheel Away is the best around. Over the years, I’ve purchased numerous bikes from Wheel Away and every single one has suited my or my family’s needs and lasted for decades now! I’ve recently decided to replace my first bike I purchased from them, a Miyata 721 road bike…and move into something more suited to my tired old 50 y.o. self…and Wheel Away is the only place I’ll consider going. And to put that statement into perspective, I currently live in Monterey, CA and there are dozens of Bicycle shops I’ll be bypassing to go shop Wheel Away. That is how good they are!

Great bikes, great service, great prices. I bought my Cannondale from them. They told me they would rather lose a sale than put me on a bike that I didn't love. They're just as passionate about bikes as I am.

You know you've got a gem when you walk in and ask them to do $100 worth of work to your bike and instead of just doing it and trying to talk you into doing more, they spend some time looking over the bike, talking to you about it, and you walk out knowing more about your bike and not having any work done on it. I returned shortly after when a shifting cable broke and they were great. I will definitely go back for any future service needs.

Best bike shop in the area. Friendly, helpful staff. Last time I was in there they took care of something for my daughter's bicycle - no charge.

Freaking Great Service. Actually, I have never bought anything for them but I want to treat everyone that works there to a fun night out because every time I have a bike question, role my bike in for some air or call for some dorky bike info, they help me out completely. My uncle goes to them all the time for repairs and to buy bike accessories that I just stare at in jealousy. I fell off my bike tonight riding home on a dark street and ran right into mad gigantic pile of leaves from a serious rake job! My bike and myself are mildly injured but after I take my bike to them tomorrow - that'll just leave one of us. Sob sob. :-) I'm so happy I know where to go AND really look forward to going.
