Well, it's a beautiful gray winter day in Aland. It's kind of what we should expect at this time of year. I recently asked my wife if she wanted to go somewhere warm with a beach. She informed me that she was in no shape to be seen on a beach. I said, "wear shorts". She responded, "----------------------------------------------------------------------". That's verbatim!!

This is a serious collection of links primarily having to do with the city of Ashland and villages in Ashland County. There are some recreational and reference links, as well.

These are OLD history books. They download a bit slowly due to their size. I
need to add some instructions. The second book's password is: genealogy.

I haven't checked AllAshland.Com to see what's happening today, but I'm only doing one thing outdoors today: riding my mountain bike. Then it'll be too hot for anything else outdoors. I ride in the woods off Freer Field, on Freer itself, on the road to a couple of small trails I've found. Anyone interested in trying to find farmers who might let us ride on their land? A few hills would be good, woods, stream, a little rugged. Getting old and I have a bad shoulder, so the Mohican trail and other real mountain bike trails are probably not for me. Bye for now.
