Stewart started his comedy career in 1993 at the age of eighteen. In 2000 he began managing the renowned Tacoma Comedy Underground in Tacoma, WA sister club to The Seattle Comedy Underground. Encouraging the many starts of numerous successful comedians in today’s entertainment industry.
He made his debut on the Howard Stern Show on December 14, 2005 and has been a regular guest ever since. He has also been seen on numerous appearances with the show's national touring comedy troupe The Killers of Comedy. You can currently see him and the guys on the hit series The Killers of Comedy on The Road on Howard Stern inDemand.
Stewart is also a skilled comedy writer and has written for several TV shows and celebrity roasts as well as been heard on numerous radio programs including The Next Best Thing (ABC Television), The Gene Simmons Roast (A&E), The Andy Dick Roast on Howard Stern on Demand, The Robin Quivers Roast on Howard on Demand.
These days Jason can be seen all over the country not only as a highly regarded stand-up headliner but also as an accomplished show producer.
Be on the look out for him also appearing in the new feature Film "The Unbookables" which was released in March 2011.
Jason is one of the only comedians ever to perform in front of over 500,000 people in 3 days at Hempfest in Seattle. Aside from this credit he can't remember much else about it.
He has appeared as a headliner and special feature in such places as the
Stockton Arena, Punchline Comedy Club in Sacramento and San Francisco; House of Blues in Mandalay Bay, Nevada; Borgatta Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City; Moore Theater in Seattle; Rose Garden Arena in Portland; Key Club in Hollywood; 4th and B in San Diego; Vic Theater in Chicago; New York Comedy Club in Boca Raton, Florida; Lakeland Center in Lakeland, Florida; Stand Up New York in New York; Caroline’s on Broadway in New York and Higher Ground in Burlington, Vermont.
On and off the comedy stage Jason also spends time working on his music projects and making surprise guitar wielding appearances with many world renowned bands and fellow comedians.
Stewart has also made special appearances with comedians such as Craig Gass, Jim Florentine, Mitch Hedberg, Doug Stanhope, Dave Attell, Tommy Chong, Colin Quinn, Jim Norton, Lewis Black, Dwight Slade, Sean Rouse and Michael Winslow.
