Always take backup. We hear it all the time on cop shows; in everyday life, it translates to something like, “It pays to have a Plan B” or allusions to the Robert Burns poem about “the best laid plans” often going awry. But new Wharton research shows that t...

Someone wrote an interesting LinkedIn post, hundred others copy pasted it in their timeline. ( the compulsive social media habit).

I wanted to be a little more dignified so I used the official share button.

First my reaction and then the nostalgic post.

Don't know who wrote this... But its beautiful and true!

Very nicely written and copied with purpose. You crime of plagiarism is excused and you are acquitted. You are also excused and acquitted for inspiring thousand others to copy and paste this message with #copied.

Thanks a billion for committing these beautiful crimes (हसीन गुस्ताखियाँ ) .

I belong to a generation earlier to you.

Your beginning points are also beyond my end points, like 7 pani puris for Rs.1.00. My end point in late sixties is five pani puris for ten paise. Pani Puri, Pav bhaji, and Pav Bhajia were poor people's food. Those not earning enough used to complete their dinner in 10 to 15 per head with this in Maharashtra.

Maidan me aaja, is a evergreen point enjoyed by all generations perhaps even my father and grandfather too.

Another point an important one, and a evergreen one, the author felt a bit shy to express on Social media platform but nevertheless very important is the ' kudi talk' talking about the girls ( by girls about boys).

I am not shy to mention it and

बेशर्मों की पुश्त शायद हामी से शुरू हुई।

I really suspect even our grand and great grand parents must have indulged in this 'kudi talk' during their early morning 'Lota Walk' (no elabortion
needed)

Anyway great post, Whoever wrote it originally thanks....

Somewhere between

“ 7 pani puris for 1 rupee” and

“1 pani puri for 7 rupees”,

Somewhere between

“Ground mai aaja” and

“Online aaja”,

Somewhere between

“stealing eclairs of your sis” and “Bringing Silk for her”,

we grew up!!

Somewhere between

“Just five more mins Mom” and “Pressing the snooze button”,

Somewhere between

“Crying out loud just to get what we want” and

“Holding our tears when we are broken inside”,

we grew up!!

Somewhere between

“I want to grow up” and

“I want to be a child again”,

we grew up!!

Somewhere between

“Lets meet and plan” and

“Lets plan and meet”,

we grew up!

And as we grew up, we realized how, silently but surely ,our lives have changed...!!"
