This is a pretty looking design. It finally feels like high-tech can start blending with regular fashion.

Hello Matthias,

While I don't disagree with what you're saying about big corps using, through TOS, our private data and selling products back to us, I do have some questions about your alternative list of services. In the same NSA referenced documents you used to illustrate your point about Facebook servers, Skype was also a huge NSA utility to gather personal information. In fact, its been discovered that Skype will actually follow links that are posted in private chats, and attempt to access resources at either end for the sole purposes of collecting data.

Perhaps you should list some private chat services or networks that enforce strong encryption, perfect forward secrecy, and or even P.I.E (Pre-internet encryption). At the end of the day, they still have loopholes, back doors, and alternative methods to get your data, but at least they're working for it.

Thanks,

P.S

Google Now listens for keywords constantly. They're also selling you stuff. You should probably remove your entire online existence with them too, to be safe.

Now this is something!

We’ve got some big news to share as we announce today that we have agreed to join forces with Luxottica. The Luxottica Group is a leader in premium, luxury and sports eyewear with over 5,000 optical and sun retail stores in the US and has a strong, well-balanced brand portfolio that includes Ray-Ban, Oakley, Vogue-Eyewear, Persol, Oliver Peoples, Alain Mikli and Arnette.

When the first eyeglasses appeared in the 13th century, they took off and over the next 700 years, they evolved over and over, with the first bifocals appearing in the 18th century, and the monocle and sunglasses shortly after. Nowadays, glasses are global phenomenon – a reflection of both function and fashion.

We see Glass as the next chapter in this long story. Light, simple and modular, Glass introduces new functionality as your glasses get smarter – but bringing your own style to Glass is just as important. Earlier this year, we launched the Titanium Collection, designed by the Glass team. Between frames, shades, and colors, there are over 40 different ways for Explorers to make Glass their own today… but that’s not enough.

Luxottica understands how to build, distribute and sell great products that their clients and consumers love – something we care deeply about at Glass, too. They’ll bring design and manufacturing expertise to the mix, and, together, we’ll bring even more Glass style choices to our Explorers. In addition, Luxottica’s retail and wholesale distribution channels will serve us well when we make Glass available to more people down the road.

You’re not going to see Glass on your favorite Oakleys or Ray-Bans tomorrow, but today marks the start of a new chapter in Glass’s design. Excited? Because we definitely are.

I don't understand why there isn't quality assurance in politics. Welders are a prime example. If they have a weld that fails an inspection, a few more of their welds are tested. If one of those welds fails, a percentage of their welds for that particular project are tested. If any of those fails, there is a suspension until the person re-tests, and ultimately if that retesting is not up to the standard set by governing body they are terminated from their position. Now, why are the people who run the various states, provinces, and nations not held to the same standard? Make a bad call like this one? Lets go back over your previous policies and apply the letter of the law and basic dictionary definitions of words to get the true meaning of what they proposed. If they fail, let's look at their entire platform, and if that fails, it's time to re-elect or propose a withdrawal of candidacy. Seems simple enough.

This is one of the go to spots for a nice roof-top patio. Great for a beer in the heat. Services is average, food is average, cost is average, but the atmosphere is great!

This was a fantastic experience that I would highly recommend to anyone willing to reach out and try something new. The meal choice called " The Drill " is a four course original created by the Chef that is comprised of a random sampling from the menu with an added touch of creativity. I would / will go again and I'm happy to have a place like this represent Halifax to all of our tourists and visitors.

Fantastic little diner that still believes in a decent portion for a fair price that tastes great. Only accepts cash and seating is limited, but that's a good sign, isn't it?
