Delicious rustic Italian small plates and pastas are the game here. I fell in love with the brussels sprouts and the lively environment is a great space for any celebration or event. In the always hopping Tribeca area, this is a smart place to sait your appetite. Be sure to come hungry and thirsty!

A delicious, albeit a splurge, meal is a given here for either brunch or dinner. Specializing in Italian favorites, you'll go back and forth between five different delectable dishes before finally settling on your order. You can't go wrong with any of the pastas. I recommend going with a few people so that you can try a number of different entrees and apps. Definitely a special occasion restaurant, and a good one to take the parents when they come to town.

Food is beautiful and somewhat simple. Portions are quite big so come hungry and cocktails are great too although small selection every day. Great atmosphere!

Perfect spot for a night out. I loved that it was dressy, yet not pretentious. Don't miss the sheep's milk rictotta crostini, fried artichokes, and the scallops. Amazing.

Get a few friends together and go hungry. Order one of everything and share, family-style. Have some wine or one of their delectable cocktails and have a night out on the town. Great place for a date or catching up with old friends. Highly recommended (if you can get in).

As a somewhat affordable, semi-upscale Italian restaurant, Locanda Verde delivers beautifully. The food is as rustic as the name would suggest, with simple pastas (Grandmother's Ravioli - filled with short rib and pork, in an almost arrabiatta sort of sauce) being surprisingly satisfying, and delicious, hearty entrées in generous portions, such as the Fennel Glazed Duck and Heritage Pork. The wine list is well curated, with many bold reds and crisp whites to pair with the lighter or more substantial items of the menu. The ambiance is vivacious and happy, without being absurdly loud, something of a rarity for TriBeCa. Brunch is equally enjoyable, if not more so, given the tendency to want to linger in a place so comfortable. Most don't sojourn too far south to find great dinners in Manhattan, but Locanda Verde is worth the trip.
