The meat is very nicely done here. They toast their tortillas. The salsa is very spicy. And the Burrito Mojado is fantastic. My favorite taqueria.

I've always been a fan of this delightful restaurant. The environment is noisy, and during busy times you will be bumped into and breathe the direct exhale of every other drunk person trying to get their drunk food. You can call in orders in advance, which is the ONLY way to order during busy times as you can walk in 15 minutes later and your food is ready. So (you ask yourself) why three stars? I'll tell you person reading my review: quality control. I've ordered the same thing from them, roughly 100+ times over the years and the end result has NEVER been the same order to order. It's almost always good (but NOT always, which is one of the stars) however I would like to be able to tell someone that I know what they'll get when I recommend somewhere to eat. If you want a good chance of tasty food then this is a safe bet, however sorry Taqueria Cancun: three stars is as high as we can go.

Decent mission burritos. If it were anywhere else, it'd be the best, but the neighborhood burrito competition is fierce af.

Classic San Francisco veggie burrito with plenty of fresh cilantro. I've been eating here for 20 years.

Well, this was surprising. I wasn't expecting to ever find an El Farolito replacement, but, then I want to Taqueria Cancun. Twice, in a single weekend. And I'll say this: while I still like the burritos at El Faro better, the tacos here are superb. My first trip here, I ordered one of their al pastor super tacos, which comes loaded with just about everything, and super generous portions of avocado to boot. My second trip a few days later was to try a carne asada super burrito, which, while still tasty, lacked the stand-out flavor you can find at El Faro. Now, if you're close to Cancun, is the difference worth trekking out to El Faro for? No. But if you haven't decided then, then, well! ***Accessibility Info*** Venue - While the space isn't huge, and it can certainly get crowded, Cancun is far more accessible than El Faro, if not simply because of gaps in the walkway that allow for easily maneuvering through lines. Bathroom - Didn't check them out.

Quick and awesome food. We got the ceviche tostada, and an assortment of tacos! Good price & the perfect food for a day of wandering around the city.

Great for late night food. Be warned of intoxication, noise, and cleanliness late nights.

Lovely hole in the wall kinda place, but when you enter you feel you just traveled to Mexico. Vibrant yellow walls and multi colored flags dripping from the ceiling and picnic style seating makes the place somehow very cozy. The service was super fast and they cook everything right there in front of you. I had the cabeza (beef head) and carnitas super tacos. Both were extremely good. Very messy to eat them but who cares when they taste that great, right? The complimentary nachos and salsas were just as good as the tacos. Everyone seemed to be ordering the burrito so it must be good. I'll have to try it for myself and judge, but so far Taqueria Cancun you got my approval!
