Last Saturday started good for the Dragons. The Junior team won, in their first preseason game this year a clear 47:19 victory, versus the Budapest Wolves.

However, the second, more important game, the week 9 game in the AFL versus the Swarco Raiders became athriller. In front of an enthusiastic crowd, both teams met at eye level, but the Raiders had the lucky end, winning with a score of 35:27.

Dragons runningback Tunde Ogun (#1) was not to blame, as he had a phenomenal day, carrying the ball 24 times for 272 yards (11.3 yards/run) and 3 TD, bringing him the overall rushing lead in the AFL.

In the last round, June 23rd, the Dragons will travel to Graz, meeting the JCL Giants. The Dragons have to win this game to secure their spot in the leagues playoffs.
