I really appreciate the doctors and staff at Eagle Ranch Vision Source. I have been going there for several years and have watched, and appreciated how comforting they are in there approach to my eye care. I always feel they take a personal interest in my eyesight and in ensuring that I am fully aware of any issues with my eyes and the possible approach to correcting my vision. I like the fact that they stay up with new technologies and can properly care for my vision.

I don't usually write reviews. I stopped by to have them order some frames i knew were out-of-stock all over town b/c they're near my house and take my insurance. Basically there was some confusion with my insurance and I wasn't even eligible for new glasses, but the guy was really patient and ended up calling my insurance company to clarify the situation. He even straightened out my current frames while i was there even though i ended up not getting anything. Friendly and great customer service!

I have only been in once, but the staff is genuinely interested in providing exceptional service and care. I felt the appointment was rushed a little to keep up with the schedule of the day, but the diagnosis appears to have been on the mark. Lacy is an amazing contact lens fitter. She helped me explore options I never knew existed and then Kathy was ready to test things until we found an option that worked for me.

Scheduled a Lasik consultation at the office, only to find out the visit was 130$ (not a big deal really) and that they don't even do the procedure, they refer you to a different doctor. This information. would of been extremely helpful upfront and not as I am expecting to be seen by the Dr. For those wondering about lasik, the charge I was quoted was 3500$ Which makes them about 1000$ more per eye then surrounding Dr's, surely they aren't that much better? Good luck.

I am so sorry our front desk did not communicate the pre-op LASIK protocol. We see you first to make sure you are a candidate for intralase/LASIK. We make sure your eyes are healthy and verify parameters and coordinate all care with the ophthalmologist/LASIK surgeon. It is $3500 total both eyes included (pre-op, surgery, and all post-op for 12 months). Please let us know if you have any other questions. Dr William Aston

We both were overjoyed to find a local Eye Care Dr. and especially when the whole team is one of the friendliest and knowledgeable we have been to. We both especially liked the eye photo idea versus the aggravating and annoying eye dilation technique!

Mr McDaniel it is always a pleasure to serve you with the utmost care. I'm so glad you noticed the value of our new technology and how it better serves our patients. We look forward to seeing you and your family for years to come.

Great experience with Dr. William Aston. He was completely thorough and personable. He and the staff made the experience for my 9 year old stress free. He took the time to consider all aspects of care, from my migraines to my son's dyslexia diagnosis. Thank you to the entire office.

We grow a lot of eyelashes throughout our life. If you were to place a lifetime’s worth of eyelashes in a row they would add up to 98 feet long!

Have you ever wondered why you can sometimes cure your blurry #vision by squinting your eyes? According to some studies, it has to do with the amount of light let into the #pupil. When you squint your eye, there is much less light that is allowed through the pupil compared to when your #eyes are wide open. This then affects the amount of light that has to be focused on the #retina in order for us to see a clear image. When we are in a heavily lit area, our vision can sometimes become blurry. Squinting our eyes helps to decrease the amount of light being let into the #eye making it easier for the light to be focused on the retina. If you’re experiencing a problem like this it is important to go see your #optometrist so that preventative measures can be taken http://bit.ly/1FbdNVs
Squinting helps overcome blurriness by changing the eye shape and the amount of light entering the eye.

#TriviaAnswer: True! The choroid is located behind the retina and is rich in blood vessels, which makes it appear red on film.

Many people are unaware of the harm that #UV radiation actually does to our #eyes. It has been said that nearly a quarter of the people in the U.S. never or rarely wear #sunglasses to protect their eyes. This often leads to outcomes like #photokeratitis, which is sunburn on the eye, or even things like #cataracts or eye cancer. It is very important to protect our eyes from future harm. Show us that you are protecting your eyes by posting a photo of you wearing your sunglasses followed by #protectyoureyes. http://ow.ly/NjL95
