Three of my daughters have attended Woodrow. Two have graduated and one is a senior this year. They all had great experiences, made great friends and were well prepared for college. While no school is perfect, Woodrow is a place with great tradition, an amazing legacy, and a bright future. The four academies offer students lots of choice in their academic careers and give students great experiences to help them make wise decisions about their future. Go Wildcats!

This is the worst school I have every attended. The teachers are awful, the class rooms are filthy, the dress code is the biggest abomination I have ever witnessed. By the way it doesn't improve anything academically for the students , the temperature is either extremely hot or extremely cold in the class rooms, and one thing that just really bugs me is that half of the teachers don't even have the necessary equipment that they need. For example about half of the teachers don't even have projectors. All in all this school is terrible, the worst school I have ever attended. Please if you are moving to Dallas or are in the area and your child is going to be attending this school please make sure that you don't have your child attend Woodrow.

Woodrow has moved up the 2010 Newsweek list to number 422 out of approximately 22,000 high school in the United States. That's the top 2%. In November the school received the ACT College Readiness award - and to qualify for that only schools in the top 5% are chosen. The class of 2010 is 88% college bound and has so far won more than $8,000,000 in scholarships or roughly $35,000 per college-bound student. Became an IB World School in March, 2011. Offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, which confers 24 college credit hours. In addition, there are 22 AP and 8 dual-credit classes. We are fortunate to have such an excellent academic high school with treasured traditions, illustrious alumni and a historic building so beautiful it has been featured in a museum exhibit.
