Boris cycle czar wants superhighway CS5 to avoid Vauxhall Bridge Rd, instead go up Belgrave Road, over Eccleston Bridge and on into Belgravia. Is that a good idea?

Ever since Thomas Cubitt did the deal with Lord Grosvenor in 1825, Pimlico has tended to be more about aspiration than inspiration. One struggles to find extraordinary points of interest to boast about. We have no Grand Houses, Victorian serial killers, ancient monuments or tourist attractions to offer you. There are no white-cubed art galleries, hipster hangouts, designer boutiques or billionaire ghettos.
We do currently have the best place to live in this town and we all very much hope that nobody else discovers that fact, at least for the present. Since you’ve already found your way here, we’ve made a map of things to see and do.
There’s not much on it, but I think you get the point…

Captain Santi's Rumpus party Vol 14 '20,000 Creatures Under The Sea!' was held aboard MS Stubnitz, Wood Wharf, London E14 9SB.
It featured a Rubbish Sideshow circus, the noisy musics of Penny Black Remedy and BootScraper, hardtack by What The Dickens, harpist Steph West, and an accordionist whose name escapes me. Spinning the yarns were DJs Ocelus, Dr Cat, Toby Lyon and Dr Malaka.
