Poor service, agents require a great deal of repatition to get the point, agents can't seem to provide yes or no answers. I have used state farm for 40 + years without a claim and I would call once every 5-10 years with NO claims but after this most recent experience I'm done with them. Called this main office and the gave me agents in Florida when I'm trying to switch agents in Illinois...trulry stupid.

I have State Farm for over 40 years and never had such a run around as I am having now. A accident that was blamed on me when the other person hit me the driver had no license or insurance. Now to get my car fixed has been a complete run around every person in the claims office tells me another story never the same answer. They told me to go to any repair shop well it has to be a State Farm shop, than they will come to my house to estimate, and of course they don't do that either, than the place to take it for a estimate doesn't have a appointment for a week or two. Thank you State Farm for that great customer service

I am Herman A Weaver and I have been a State Farm customer for over 44 years and I can count on one hand the number of claims I have claimed. In Feb 2014 I ran over a huge pot hole (8" wide x 8" deep x 15' across) that stretched across the entrance ramp to I264 off off Whitchduck road in VA Beach VA. It damaged my suspension system to the point that the front end sat inches from my front tires. I carried the vehicle to Mercedes Benz of VA Beach (MBVAB)and called State Farm Agent Alvin Keels to report a claim. MBVAB stated that they could not assess the problem until the compressor is replaced. State Farm replaced the compressor and MBVAB(JAY a state farm assessor) stated that the airshocks were ok. I took the vehicle home and the next day the drivers side front was leaning so I took it back to MBVAB and they replaced the airshock on the drivers side, State Farm Paid. I went out of town for a week and when I returned the Passenger side was leaning, so I carried it back to MBVAB and they replaced the airshock on the passenger side, State Farm paid. I took the vehicle home and the next week the passenger rear was leaning. I called State Farm to claim that the same problem in the rear is happening, so I spoke with Brian of team 10 and he told me he was going to cal MBVAB to authorize the repair, however, Danielle Mortensen of team 10 called me and told me she was denying the claim for the rear for normal ware & tear and she said ' that her airomatic inspector stated that but he could NOT take pictures of it because the shocks were hidden from view'. I then asked 'how can you deny my claim without evidence of normal wear & tear If the front shocks were caused by the huge pot hole and you paid for it, then in all logic the rear shocks were also damaged by the pot hole. It seems to me the dealership & JAY did NOT inspect the suspension system totally. I am truly upset with State Farm for rejecting my claim but paying for half of the original claim. Like I said I am a 44 year customer and I feel Cheated and totally upset to be treated like this. I don't feel that State Farm comprehensive auto insurance protects (IN GOOD HANDS???) its' customers and I am seriously thinking about changing to ALLSTATE if my claim is not fullfilled. My agent Alvin Keels is trying to get State Farm to reconsider its denial of my claim since it has no proof. I should know something in the morning.

I have been a customer of State Farm for about 28 years. I have had claims on several vehicles and my home. Always treated very well. Fast turn around on claims, paid more than I anticipated and always treated me with respect. I recently got remarried and brought my new wife's car under State Farm. State Farm is dramatically cheaper than who she was with previously.

The claim service sure is "remarkable", it takes two months to pay for a total loss. There is no one you can talk to about the claim that has any authority. It looks like you are dealing with the General insurance company or some 3rd world outfit. As a customer for over 55 years I am appalled at the service provided.
