Excellent points and very thoughtful -- the short video length is almost deceptive hahaha

I work in related fields (for the moment and the last 5+ years) and had to learn on the go but also try and help others that are either totally lost as to where to start, or need direction after starting and getting overwhelmed. These tips are relevant for a LOT of professional fields....

Thanks for another great video :-)

+Linsey Peace -- Honestly, week 6 when the bite splint came out, but even then I felt I had a lisp still and it took about 6 months more before I felt like I was chewing, speaking, etc. with consistency. www.createspace.com/4202867 <-- my Game Day & Recovery Playbook discusses the entire 12-week healing process. My books are also on Amazon :-)

I use the gel to make my nails strong so I don't bite them. If I don't do them, then my natural nails are a "target" and I may bite them without thinking. It's a gross habit and bad habit so I do my nails so they look nice instead.

Haha yes, we plan to have a family. But we will likely adopt most of our children. I have nieces and one nephew now too, but they live far away so it's hard to spoil them a lot. And yes, I agree, it's better when they belong to other people haha

+hisao m yes, most of them... I'm not great with German but I can recognize the words from other languages (English has a lot of German words in it that we changed over time, for example)... but this dog food has English and other languages on the label too since they ship within the European Union ;-)

Introduction
I am a graduate of the University of Hawaii, where I studied Psychology and Japanese. I also have my Masters in Forensic Psychology. I am working as a professional copywriter, as well as a fitness coach, and I am working on getting into a program to finish my PhD. It's a tough one because I move a lot, but it'll happen.

Underwent surgery to correct an open-bite in December 2011 - which was easier than I expected! I've developed a HUGE list of recipes, tools, and resources for other jaw surgery patients which will be available at www.JawRecoveryPlaybook.com once I fix the mess I made with the website files... (Thank you anemia for giving me some ridiculous mental confusion for a few weeks haha) -- I'll fix the site soon and anyone looking for the information in the meantime can contact me through any of my sites and I'll send it through email)... (UPDATE below)

If this stuff wasn't ambitious enough, I'm also working on what I hope will become my first novel ;-)

UPDATE - I eventually put my novel-writing on a "back burner" when my Jaw Recovery Playbook website became a bigger project than I anticipated. It's now about to relaunch with a completely new look and it's part of a full SYSTEM with 6 Jaw Recovery PLAYBOOKS (totaling over 1000 pages and composed of the hundreds of hours of research I conducted over the past 2+ years). Once that is up and the Playbooks release, I'll get back to the other writing. Sometimes we have to prioritize :-)

Bragging rights
Just plain awesome :-)

You get what you pay for - The prices might seem a little high (at least to people who have asked me personally about the costs for my braces) in comparison to some other orthodontists but the quality of personalized care and attention can't be beat. I opted for self-ligating braces which are not the cheapest, but were within the acceptable options for my needs and have likely reduced my treatment time. Having experienced what I would call "sub-standard" care when I had braces as a child, I was hesitant to go down this road again especially when I was told I'd need surgery too. Dr. Garai and his associates, as well as the entire staff at Garai Orthodontics, are definitely top-notch! If I had questions, they were answered. If I had problems (e.g loose bracket, teeth moving funny, stubborn teeth, etc.), they were taken care of promptly. The staff is always professional and courteous while also presenting a friendly "you're welcome here" atmosphere that really helped me as an adult with braces but I believe it helps children and their parents feel comfortable as well. If I were to recommend Garai Orthodontics to a friend (and I have!), I would be sure they knew they were getting a lot more for their money and they were putting their treatment and care in very capable hands. You just can't go wrong with Dr. Garai and his team!
