I've probably done my "the current generation is fucked" rant before, but I just have to do it again.

The current generation is a bunch of asswipes raised on participation medals and being cottled until they're too fucking spoiled to live. We censor words but allow violence. No nudity but only put halfass violence in. Won't someone think of the children?
That's all it is and, chances are, even if you're reading this and thinking about how bad "society" and "everyone else" is, you have to step back and realize you're part of the problem. We are society, each and everyone one of us, and everything you judge of society applies doubly to you, but that's not where I'm going with this.
We don't allow the children to know what losing feels like, and so we have these emos who think they're never good enough and these hyper-elitists who think they're better than you because they have more participation medals. Life is a competition and it's slowly losing its edge because people are taking the edge out of it.
We have parents planning every second of their children's lives and making their children lose their own time management skills. Those children(if they're lucky) grow up to micromanage their own lives and lose all capability to handle anything spontaneous.
We don't even let children been children. We dope them up on meds to keep them focused and lethargic then give them more to deal with the lethargy.
Every little nuance of individuality is drained out of people because everyone's so fucking eager to adhere to a status quo and make sure everything turns out the same for everyone.
We lose twelve years of our lives being taught that we're all square pegs in a round hole and we should cut off our corners, then we're all huddled away for at least another two to four years to sand down the edges.
Even worse are the parents that say their kid is absolutely perfect regardless of what happens. Then, when they don't get something, it's Collumbine v2 or Sandy Hook the Sequel. You have to teach your child to know when they fuck up and that they are little fuck ups in the first place. Half the people who tell their kids that they're little angels hide that they're just broken condoms or slow reflexes. Tell your fucking kid they're a mistake if they are. Doesn't mean you love them less.

All that being said, it's time to shower and get back to the regularly scheduled program of telling you you're all useless meatbags.
