Great place for ice cream! In an old ice cream parlor type place plus the service is real good (as good as the ice cream). Hopefully you are not on a diet when you come here. Because it is so good it is tempting.

I'm really flummoxed by all these rave reviews. I grew up in a generation of over-indulgence; I love meats and I love ice cream. I expect my meats to be marinaded and fatty, and I expect my ice cream to be smooth and creamy. I don't care much about organic when it comes to these two items unless there's a current recall, or I've happened to see a report on human mutations stemming from mad cows- in the literal sense. It's very easy to be overtaken by the interior; I'll admit, part of the reason I was so excited was because it felt like I had stepped into a different era. But if you shut your eyes and went through a taste test between Eddie's and any of the generic franchises, I'm not sure you'd choose the former. Every time I order a milkshake, I'm looking to be taken back to the 90210 Peach Pit diner. Yes, I know it was a fictional TV show, and no, I've never actually stepped foot in it. But that's what makes the experience magical: the feeling, the recalling of a memory, of a time and place less complicated. I like my milkshakes thick, not runny like how they make it here; it poured like it was mostly milk- even with a double scoop. Imagine a glass of ice cream left out for too long- that was the consistency. I didn't even finish my vanilla milkshake because besides it not being thick enough, it lacked sweetness. The ice cream is supposedly made in-house, but if this is the case, please add some sugar. Eddie's, it's time to upgrade your formula, or hire some people to prepare a milkshake properly.

This is a great historic ice cream parlor. Their sundaes are incredible with a variety of toppings. I always hear positive things from people that I take here. A few movie shoots have happened here. It is best to get a seat at the counter.

Eddie's Sweet Shop is amazing! A historic ice cream parlor located on the same strip as Danny Brown Wine Bar. The look and feel of this place is one of a kind. Their sundaes are out of this world. Between the homemade ice cream and rich toppings, you can't go wrong!

My family loves to go here. We recently moved out to Long Island, but whenever we have dinner nearby, we always make sure to stop in for dessert. I only wish they had more flavors, or keep the regulars and do a flavor of the week/month to give it a little variety

This is my favorite place to go to for ice cream. Everything is homemade, fresh, and delicious. Also everything looks old fashioned and they have a lot of candy! If you want great homemade ice cream you have to go here.

Eddie's is a newly found favorite in Queens. Eddie's top for me so far is their Walnut ice-cream. Just in a cone, or added into a chocolate malt, the Walnut Maple ice-cream is seriously delicious. You'll end up smelling sweetness and walnuts for hours after you've eaten it. Good quality walnuts lending a mild nutty bitterness to the very sweet cream. Other greats have been their normal Chocolate Sundae, the Malts, thick of course. And oddly, even though I don't like whipped cream, their's is fantastic! Thick, whipped perfectly, made of good cream, it really did make the sundae something great. I imagine kids would go crazy for that whipped cream. The guys working there have been great. Friendly, fast. So tip well!!!

My first time at Eddie's was incredible. The sweet scent of sugar cone engulfs your nose. Old times just seem better here. The ice cream is heaven on earth. they really know how to get creative. Teenagers work at the place, but they don't run it (I think the critic knows who they are). In fact they make the experience better. The adolescents know how to handle themselves very well and are extremely polite. It was a blessing for this shop to open. The best family owned restaurant/ice cream shop around by far.
