Requirements are not mushrooms; they can't just be "gathered."

Hey, you know that tune "The Fox?"
Here's Nickel Creek's version: http://grooveshark.com/s/The+Fox/2yeUUT?src=5

Great traditional bluegrass song, right? One of my favorites. Well, I found quite possibly the best cover ever. Enjoy.

Is there anything cooler than an animal that creates cockroach zombies? I don't think so.

Good move, Google.

When we launched Google+ over three years ago, we had a lot of restrictions on what name you could use on your profile. This helped create a community made up of real people, but it also excluded a number of people who wanted to be part of it without using their real names.

Over the years, as Google+ grew and its community became established, we steadily opened up this policy, from allowing +Page owners to use any name of their choosing to letting YouTube users bring their usernames into Google+. Today, we are taking the last step: there are no more restrictions on what name you can use.

We know you've been calling for this change for a while. We know that our names policy has been unclear, and this has led to some unnecessarily difficult experiences for some of our users. For this we apologize, and we hope that today's change is a step toward making Google+ the welcoming and inclusive place that we want it to be. Thank you for expressing your opinions so passionately, and thanks for continuing to make Google+ the thoughtful community that it is.

#protip - VS2010 Database Projects, while cool and useful, don't work well with schema comparisons when computed columns change.

This may be tough for you to hear, Billy—but there is no Santa Claus. I should clarify: There was a Santa Claus, and he brought joy to all the chi...

Song of the day: a remix of Getting Closer by Nitzer Ebb that I hadn't heard before. Thanks, Pandora!

This reminded me of +Aaron Rich, who uses "air quotes" when discussing code.

The Shepherd Express listed them as a "hidden gem" in April 2013, so I took my family, despite the negative reviews online. I was pleased with the waitstaff and the food. We had the walleye and perch, with clam chowder. The breading on the perch was a bit salty, but still good. The walleye was very good, and the soup was better than most. Reasonably priced and reasonably family friendly—they had booster seats and high chairs, but no changing table in either bathroom. Worth a visit.
