Soo at 11:52 I still can't read that since it is reversed! Is it different when broadcasted on periscope?

The phrase "Don't mock the process" really spoke to me. So true! And SO TRUE that if you start engaging in process-mocking, you'll end up feeling like everyone else is doing that for you, and it becomes this awful cycle of unknowing self-deprecation. Definitely needed to hear those words.

I do, however, wonder where the line is between being mocked/talked about behind your back (and mistakenly using that as datapoints for "feedback") vs. getting honest feedback that you should actually take into account. Where is that line? I still struggle to figure it out. What do you think?

Quads are sore the next day - is this normal or am I just doing the squats wrong? I'm used to my butt being sore instead of quads!

So happy for you Kassie - you completely deserve these great things. I'm from the New York area originally so I usually forget how friggin weird it is as a place (you know, you get used to what you know and it doesn't become special to you anymore). I miss NYC though; I moved back to Texas because it's cheaper here and it's WAY easier to save for things like travel, food, and retirement ^_^. Glad you got to see the big apple for yourself!

"*deep things deep thoughts real talk* ... And if you don't keep your word, then you're just a shitty person" LOL you're funnnyyy kassie :-*

I love this idea. Even if some people think it is a little strange, it is definitely part of one of those "keystone habits" that keep you in line with larger promises/habits/character pieces in your life. After all, how you do anything is how you do everything!

Also, I was in Canada this past week visiting Quebec City for fun. Obviously, quite the opposite coast from your side of Canadia, but I was thinking of you a lot while I was there. Not to generalize, but I'm gonna generalize anyway (lol): Canadians are definitely more laid back and friendlier than the typical American.

Btw, I love the pink color notes at your hair tips. I've seen people do that with lavender and it's SO cool. Looks lovely on you!

Something I started doing was painting for 10 minutes in the morning with this cute watercolor travel paint set - I'd look forward to getting out of bed and "doodling" for the 10 minutes during which I would have otherwise pushed the snooze button and struggle-bused out of bed eventually :)

1. Your Haul Videos: ... are the best for the same reasons you listed at the beginning. I think a lot of haul videos contain a lot of self-indulgent fluff, but I think your viewers (myself included) appreciate the fact that you very clearly put thought into every item you share with us. Thanks :)
2. Chocolate Cravings: Okay this was a HUGE problem for me and then I started making these weird chocolate puddings to offset my cravings - I highly recommend you try it out. Basically, you add almond milk to chia seeds then add raw cacao powder (I use the one from Navitas Naturals), dates (and/or gogi berries), and any nuts/coconut flakes/whatever you want. You mix it all up and wait for the chia seeds to absorb the almond milk/cacao powder. Basically, it looks horrible (literally people at work see me eating it and are like wtf is that), but the "pudding" tastes incredible since it has a balance of tartness from the raw cacao powder plus sugars from the dates/gogi berries. I also find that it gives me a huge burst of energy mid-day because of the nutrient-rich ingredients. Finally, although the ingredients are pretty expensive upfront, they end up evening out to be veryyy cheap per serving of this pudding.Tasty, nutritious, made of chocolate, and cost-effective. I hope you get to try it out!
3. On Plain Clothes + Great Accessories: Literally my life now is wearing plain high-quality clothes (as you recommended in your capsule wardrobe video) and pairing everything with nice accessories to make it seem like I'm not wearing the same stuff over and over again. Rent the Runway Unlimited has been a savior in that department because I hate owning too many "things". It's nice to hear from you that the plainclothes+graetaccessories trend is indeed trending among the YouTube elite!
4. The Jeans: I have a friend with a non-booty who bought those exact same jeans you recommend and she LOVED THEM! Based on her recommendation and yours, they must be good. I have the opposite problem where I have to contain the booty even though I'm actually very skinny everywhere else (like youuu), and so it's impossible for me to find jeans that fit. The other week I was over the moon when I found some Calvin Klein Curvey Skinny Leg jeans that actually fit me AND were reasonably priced, so I recommend those for people with the same issue as mine ;-)

Phew that was a lot, but just know that I (and everyone else) appreciate you a TON, Kassie! :)

Katy Perry might be able to levitate under a shooting star, but Beyoncé can bring back Kelly Roland and Michelle Williams from the dead. She's a necromancer. She wins just for that.

Introduction
Always the beautiful answer who asks the more beautiful question. - E.E. Cummings

Google Fangirl to the max, I bleed maroon/gold for Will Rice College and blue/gray for Rice University, Photography/video equipment drives me nuts, the solution to every problem is to make a movie, Biracial people are the best people, all Vietnamese food or any food with rice is the best food, Write 750 words AT LEAST every single day, and never ever settle

I'm into innovation. I'm especially into documenting and characterizing innovation through communication, because although actions speak louder than words, those actions speak exponentially louder when perfectly quantified into words.

This place makes me want to move back to the east coast, quit classpass, and commit to going to City Pole and City Pole only for the rest of my training and exercise. I went to one class taught by Sam and he is SO FRIGGIN TALENTED! I not only learned about how to improve my abilities and training, but I was inspired and blown away by his enthusiasm and genuine care for students' wellbeing. It was clearly a class from which I took lessons about life that I could translate outside of the pole studio, which is a bizarre and wonderful statement to make. The top rated studio for pole fitness in NYC is probably Body and Pole, but while Body and Pole is the "big box" department store that churns out top-notch pole athletes, this place is the customized boutique which is sure to develop and create champion human beings who happen to be incredible pole athletes as well. Everything about the space, energy, and vibe at City Pole mimics the intentions that Kylee (the owner) has and details on her City Pole truly stands out as a new shining beacon of pole fitness in New York, and likely in the world. I can't wait to come back.
