The staff here is so nice. They have an excellent drink list and the food is very solid. Things are aggressively flavored, so be prepared if something says it's sweet or spicy. I love the salads, and the ribs are killer.

Such a unique and interesting menu. Everything is delicious. Atmosphere is super loud inside--almost like a club, with pounding music. Outside dining is very quiet. Communal seating throughout.

This restaurant is best enjoyed with a group of friends and you can't be shy as you will sit at a communal table. Roy Choi has always peaked my interest in his restaurant ventures. The vibe here is playful and the menu unprententious, the space used to be an IHOP. It can be best described as your backyard bbq on steroids so please eat with your hands and have a good time doing it.

I'm definitely behind on posting about A-Frame by a year or more, BUT what I do remember is that I was underwhelmed by the food but excited by my dining companions. The furikake kettle corn was delicious, and you know I love a good fried chicken, but other than those dishes, I thought everything was a little too oily and there were too many pickled ingredients. Also, I distinctly recall that the oxtail stew was surprisingly tasteless and mushy, and I would definitely skip that option. Although I was disappointed by the food at A-Frame, I got to catch up with my co-residents, and their company and humor never disappoint.

I ate here about a month ago with my girlfriend. The ambiance was amazing (the low lighting gave off an east coast vibe) and the seating (almost community style) was different yet nice. The waiter was very knowledgeable and kind, she sensed it was our first time and walked us through the menu. I ordered the the Cracklin Beer Can Chicken and I ordered her the Baby Back Ribs. With it being a Saturday night and the place being packed to the gills I thought the wait would be excruciating but it wasn't. We waited about 20 mins and our food came out hot and smelling great! The chicken was amazing the ribs were tender and the cornbread was the best, this place is a DEFINITE must try!!!

Unique cuisine with explosions of flavor that are not found elsewhere. Roy Choi excels again at offering his fusion of Asian cuisine to this Hawaiian influenced menu. The Spam sandwich is not to be missed!
