How an idea starts ….
We are always trying new ideas and looking to do something imaginative.
Take a look at this initial sketch, illustrating a horse, possibly a Pegasus, built on top of a Honda CX500.
This project will leave the bike still drivable and will pretty much completely disguise the bike.
The sculptor that will champion this, will hopefully be Luke Kite, one of Shropshire finest who already exhibits with us.
We are hoping to have this ready for the summer.

We have renewed our OswestryChamber of commerce membership for another year.
The chamber is in need of more numbers and greater support from the business community.
It is a fantastic way of networking and by being a member you can help influence decision making within the town for the well-being of all businesses and the town as a whole.
If you want to know more about the chamber,

This Thursday we will be collecting knifes and weapons from Cambridgeshire Constabulary
The force has been working exceptionally hard in order to remove as many knives and weapons off the streets of Cambridgeshire as possible.
With their help, we are that bit closer to removing 100,000 knives off the streets of the UK and spreading much needed awareness on the effects of knife crime and violence.

We aim to distribute over 1000 of these Burwarton Agricultural show Information leaflets to our visitors.
This year we will be supporting the show by sending over some of our sculptures and other works of art to add a bit of drama to this year's show.

We have hit an incredible milestone onTripAdvisor!!!

Thanks to Peter T from Oswestry, we have reached 500 reviews!!!

It means a lot to us to hear what our visitors thought of their experience at the Ironworks and we read every single review.

Thank you to everyone who has left us a review since we began in 2014, we wouldn't be able to continue and to grow without knowing your thoughts.

Here's to the next 500, Let's reach 1000 by December.

THANK YOU!

This week is going to be a busy week for collections from across the country.
On Tuesday we will be heading down to London Metropolitan Police headquarters to pick up knives and weapons which have been collected across the city.
Yet another positive step forward for the campaign thanks to the help from the Met police. And hoping our aim to catch the attention of the mayor of London will be that bit more prominent after this collection.

We have had Alyssa D'Souza from The Marches School here this week carrying out her work experience.
She has been working in our Cafe and Showroom learning about the hospitality and retail side of things.
Alyssa has liked to keep herself busy and used initiative whilst working here.
Wayne Aston, our catering manager presented Alyssa with this Introduction to careers certificate for all of her hard work.
Well done Alyssa!!
