"The spicy tuna roll had the consistency as if it had been in a food processor."
"In conclusion- there is better sushi out there."

Food: One of the few sushi places I'll eat at. It's very good. My favorite is the Subway roll, which is sometimes on the menu as a special, but they'll make it even if it's not a special that day. Decor: Sabi is stylish without being overly pretentious. It gives a "man this place looks cool" without a "man, i gotta go home and change before I can come in here" sort of vibe. They struck a nice balance. Service: I've been to Sabi about 10 or so times and the service has always been good. That's all i got to say about that.

I usually only go for lunch, because dinner is a little expensive. The food is awesome. If your looking for a more upscale approach to Asian food, this is the place to go. Its more of Japanese style food. They have a great selection of fresh sushi if your in to that, and nice outdoor sitting area on those 70 degree sunny days.

This is a hidden gem in NPB. I honestly have never had Thai food land ike this. This place is top notch food and service. Tony and his family are some of the best people I know.

I read the reviews and was prepared to be wowed by Sabi. I love sushi and eat it often. It looked hip and it was busy all week during my stay. (I had a hard time choosing between Sabi and Ming's, which is also walking distance from my hotel but just a bit farther.) I ordered carry out and the employee that took my order was polite. My order was ready on time and as ordered. The bartender rang me up. He wasn't overly friendly but also wasn't rude. The food was very disappointing. It was fresh, at least, but the sashimi appetizer was sliced extremely thin and wasn't even arranged in an aesthetically pleasing fashion. I felt it was not a good value due to the slice size versus price and also, it seemed the chef wasn't taking pride in the appearance of the order just due to it being carryout (?). Anyway, I also ordered the EBTKS roll, which sounded delicious from their menu write-up but was also quite disappointing. It was actually so bland that I didn't even finish it. It was a good size and I felt it was at least a closer amount of food to be fair for the cost. In conclusion- there is better sushi out there. This might be a fun place to hang out but if you really want good Japanese, Chinese food, or sushi for a better value, walk a little farther from the hotel.

Best Chinese/Asian restaurant in the charlotte/LKN area. Décor is modern but warmly inviting. Prices are very reasonable and their food is clean and delicious.

Not a good experience for us at all. First of all, bartender had no personality to speak of, We used to go in there all the time & the bartender then made me a wonderful martini but this person was incapable and flatly & coldly told me "here's our list and that's it." They were not gluten-friendly at all, even though the website says they are. They thicken everything with flour, not cornstarch, so could not eat anything but shrimp cocktail & drank hot tea. Those 2 things were good, but would have liked to leave full & satisfied but instead paid almost $30 for this lousy excuse of a meal. Won't go back.
