I would give No star. Awful service by Chris. Terrible Food. Alfredo sauce tasted like warm milk. Scampi was frozen dinner quality. When presented with this. Chris said so glad you enjoyed with so much sarcasm I wanted to slap him. He had the nerve to leave the $53 bill. Horrible place would NOT ever recommend to anyone. I will tell anyone who will listen to NEVER go here. Ever!

By far the best pizza in west Denver. The crust is crispy and thin and the sauce is delicious. The white sauce pies are among my favorites with the chicken scampi topping the list. Definitely not a combination I've had before. If you like pizza and haven't tried this spot you are missing out.

If your looking for the real deal in Italian food, this is the place. We went in for dinner last night and we weren't disappointed. Great food, friendly staff, and the wait wasn't bad at all.

You know, we fall in love with a restaurant so rarely, that I wanted to take the time to do this RIGHT. Bono's is one of those places I love to go, any time I'm on that end of town. The food is incredible, authentic, and so are its owners. Between the smooth music, the great personalities, and the charming decor, I find myself going that extra exit on 6th just for a slice or a plate of pasta. FOOD ★★★★★ The menu is diverse, and changes. The deserts alone are worth the trip (creamy canoli, tiramisu to die for, and a smattering of the best damned Italian cookies I've ever had). The savories range from Pizza by the slice, to the heavier traditional dinners. But I admit that I come back for the Soup/Sandwiches. The 'Spicy Bomb' is ridiculously good, and I've yet to have a soup du jour that didn't rock my world. SERVICE ★★★★★ This is a family restaurant. But family in the sense that once you eat there, you're family. Mr. & Mrs B are everything you expect from a down to earth Italian couple. They banter, play with the guest, and offer an environment where you really enjoy the food as well as those who make it. And you can always feel free to ask for what you need. I find that if I go too many days without popping in, I actually miss the shop. CLEANLINESS ★★★★★ The restaurant is spotless. After 30+ meals I've never gotten so much as a dirty spoon. And I tend to judge a place by its restrooms. Which, at Bono's are spotless. PRICE ★★★★☆ This depends on how you look at it. The food is AMAZING. But amazing comes at a cost. If you're down for a Slice and Italian Soda, you'll be in and out for very little. If you're taking the date out on the town and want a REAL Italian meal... you're going to pay for it. It's not Maggiano's Prices, and it's not McD's. It's a comfortable middle. But you always get what you pay for. THE BAR ★★★☆☆ I'm not a heavy drinker. I tend to have a glass of wine, or a single scotch with dinner. Nothing more. But the pairings are well chosen. They've got a handsome selection of wine, and can mix stack of really creative cocktails. But it's not the main focus, the food is. Still, if you were to ask for a Manhattan, they just might oblige. Bar none, it's my favorite Pizza place. But above and beyond, there's nowhere on that end of town I would rather take a friend, have a lunch meeting, or just plain blow an hour reading while I scarf down something tasty. Oh... and the coffee's pretty badass too.

Love this place! I have been coming to Bono's for years and I have yet to have a bad expirience. The owners are fun and friendly, the service has always been wonderful. I love the happy hour as well. Will continue to come back and will always recommend Bono's to friends.

We ate here for the Fourth of July and it was awesome! The guy serving us knew a lot about the wine and beer list and directed us to some great dishes. The chicken Marsala was great and the meatballs were awesome. We will be back to try the pizza next time. This is a must try if you like Italian food. It's the best I've had since moving to Denver.

As a Mass native I think it lives up to it's "East coast style" promise. Complete with a hostess with an authentic accent. Came here 2 nights in a row and we'll definitely be back!

Let me explain my poor review. The only reason that I gave it any stars is that the pizza is excellent at lunchtime. However, my wife and I came back a few days later to have dinner and it was awful. I ordered the chicken marsala, which was bland and soupy, also chicken marsala should have a light coating of flour and sauteed to golden brown, it was not. My wife got the chicken parmesan and it was also bland. For the price, which was about the same as olive garden, I expexted better. Oh, and I ordered the minestrone soup and it was also very bland. I would recommend this place for pizza but nothing else.
