My husband and I love the pups we care for in our private home ,  we opened up our home for dogs so that we could  help those who wanted to have  peace of mind when they traveled and offer the highest level of care they could have. Yes I need the income as I don't have a pension or social security , this is what I do for a living. I consider it an honest job that puts food on our table. I am passionate about the care my human clients receive and the care and love I provide for their 4 -legged friends.
 In the 12 years in business I have always been up-front and honest and always my clients are given a copy of my policies to sign and receive another upon booking. I hide nothing. And, although I have a cancellation policy I have never  charged anyone that had a valid reason for a cancellation such as an illness or emergency.

Stating that" its none of my business" and calling me an offensive name just does not seem valid or fair to me.

We have a 7 day cancellation policy as we  do accept a limited 1-3 pets. I being the owner have the experience and  knowledge of animal behavior & on occasion may take 4-5,  never do I accept 10-12 animals even on days that drop and pick up may overlap. And all my clients are aware of this and trust my judgement and expertise. 

Another reason for my cancellation policy is so that I and my host families  have ample time to re-book those dates with another client and because we frequently decline personal activities for the dates you secure in order to be home to care for our clients pets. 
With 2 days notice I got from this client I am unable to book another client or may have turned away another that really needed me.

Our guarantee to our clients when they book is that we will be there for them and will not cancel. And we will love your pet and care for them as if there were our own.

This women is a crook- All she cares about is the money- not about the animals. According to her website the host home takes only 3 days at at time-This women takes 10-12 animals at a time.

My husband and I love the pups we care for , we make many sacrifices in sharing and opening up our home so that we can give clients an option to travel knowing that they pets are safe and in the care of someone loving  . We have done so for 12 years and have an excellent reputation.  So I feel a need to share  what really happened here with this client.
About a month ago this client booked  Aug 20th-23rd. She then emailed 2 days before the pet care was to begin stating " her plans had changed". 

 I sent a nice email asking her the reason for the cancellation. My thought was maybe it was due to an illness or emergency for which I would always be reasonable and make allowances and not because now a friend or family member was going to care for the pet instead. I like being fair but expect the same in return. Her reply to me was" it's none of your business" .
I emailed her back advising how difficult last minute cancellations are for me since this is my only source of income and it really does put food on my families table, she emailed me back with a very vulgar reply.

We have a 7 day cancellation policy ( 14 on major holidays) because we offer a very personalized service. We do take a very limited amount of pets into our homes. My host take 1- 3 dogs (most of the time its 1). I being the owner have the experience and  understanding of animal behavior & on occasion may take 4-5,  never do I accept 10-12 animals even on days that drop and pick up may overlap.
 
I am up-front with all my clients , everyone gets a copy of my policy from day one. This client signed this agreement ,received our policy each time she booked about 8 times so therefore should be very aware of my policy.

The funny thing is she calls me a crook yet she has a photo on her Facebook page on board an airplane the same day she cancelled with me citing " a change of plans".
And that makes me a crook ?

Growing up I remember many commercials that made me laugh or made me remember them for years to come.. This is one of those. I love it and my husband and I are always quoting from it and laughing.  I cant believe that there are people who have absolutely no sense of humor. You really do need to get a life instead of being so negative.

My Dad worked for Leo Burnett Adv. growing up and we'd watch Reels/VHS tapes of nothing but commercials.  Not ALL funny but some good stuff over the years - back when Marlboro Man was COOL, Morris the Cat, Starkist Tuna, Keebler Elves, to name a few.  NOW, a avoid commercilas like the plague unless they have a good HOOK - Like these.  LOL

The decision to say goodbye to our loving Cody was not an easy one. I stopped by' Natures Pet Loss' booth at a pet event since I knew the time for my friend was close. I called the office as time grew near and spoke to Joyce . She took the time to listen and was kind and understanding as I sobbed . The idea of a water soothed me psychologically as a better alternative for my baby. Without hesitation or much notice she met us at the vet's office, on time, comforted us and even cried with us. She brought a bed and a blanket for him to lay on so he could sleep forever comfortably. At the end she placed a baby blanket on him that I will never forget. t was a simple blanket , brightly colored with circles and made me think of Cody in happier times, romping, swimming and playing. It soothed my soul. The urn was delivered to me has a beautifully wrapped gift, along with his paw print and tail fur. Although never easy I felt my best friend went with the dignity,respect and love and attention to detail he deserved. Thank you for offering a better alternative to dog owners who truly love their dogs. Your kindness was a blessing.

IF YOU HIRE THIS COMPANY GET READY FOR PROBLEMS! Problems with communication and lack of professionalism from the beginning. They installed our granite, one piece had a large damage on it we did not notice because of the lighting ,till after we paid them. We immediately called them and that's when the lack of communication started. They finally came out because they said they could just polish the damage off. That did not work so we asked them to replace that piece as we did not pay full price for a damaged countertop. That's when the excuses started , my husband and I have made numerous calls to them and now they refuse to answer any of our calls.We have also called the owner Kevin's Hentze personal phone and left messages and he has never returned our calls. What kind of company puts in a damaged piece of granite and then refuses to do anything about replacing and then ignores you? You be the judge. Miriam
