SLEEP APNEA KILLS - Ensure that you're not the next victim of this very common sleep disorder. Recently, I have known 4 individuals, all of whom have died in their sleep because of untreated sleep apnea. May they RIP.

These people "appeared" to be in otherwise decent health and had no idea the role that sleep apnea would play in their premature deaths.

CHECK YOUR DEVICES FOR THIS GREAT FEATURE

So here's a positive discovery that we recently made and would like to share with you. Check your computers, laptops, tablets etc. for the "Night Light" feature that should be found within your settings menu. When selected, the screen will dim and yellow. In our case, this was found on Microsoft devices.

As you may already know or read from our previous posts, our internal clocks and melatonin production are negatively impacted by the bright blue light given off by various electronic devices. It is best to avoid the use of electronics near bedtime completely. However, if you absolutely must spend time in front of the screen because for instance, you're a software developer like my husband or a student completing a homework assignment, then be sure to change to the "Night Light" setting if you have it available.

We commend the tech industry for paying attention to sleep health. Glad you are onboard!

TROUBLE SLEEPING? EAT THESE.
