Data from FinaMetrica’s 900,000+ completed risk assessments show very little difference in risk tolerance by age groups. Tolerance scores of 30-year-olds are nearly identical to those of 45-year-olds; 60-year-old investors are somewhat more cautious, but not to a significant degree. http://wealthmanagement.com/retirement-planning/testing-risk-tolerance?page=2&utm_content=bufferbe8ac&utm_medium=social&utm_source=linkedin.com&utm_campaign=buffer

Calculations from FinaMetrica director Paul Resnik show investing consistently with risk tolerance could add $5,000 a year to performance for every $1 million invested. Resnik says FinaMetrica subscribers who use its risk tolerance assessment invest consistently with their risk tolerance and therefore tend to stay their portfolios through market tribulations. http://buff.ly/1RW5CHM

FinaMetrica is the pioneer in the psychological assessment of risk tolerance, says WealthManagement.com. "The company’s data show investors’ tolerance for risk changes very little through sharp market drops, including the crash of 2008-2009. Independent researchers have drawn similar conclusions from the same data".  http://wealthmanagement.com/retirement-planning/testing-risk-tolerance
