Congratulations to grad student Panagiotis Stanitsas for his $5,000 award from the Gerondelis Foundation! Just another example of how exceptional our students are.

Aaaand this semester is a wrap! Have a great summer folks. Let's do this again soon.

Today is the big day for undergrad commencement. Congratulations to all of our seniors walking today. We know how hard you have worked to get here. Bring your family to our reception in the Lind courtyard (behind the building) before the event. We will be there from 4-5:30.

Last day of classes. Time for the final sprint to the end of the semester.

Nice work Arvind Narayanan. He and his team won the getdnsapi Challenge at the TNW Europe Conference 2014 held in Amsterdam. Narayanan and his teammates Bhavna Soman of Damballa and Ruslan Mavlyutov of the University of Fribourg created a Thunderbird plugin that authenticates the sender's domain of an email using DNSSEC and notifies the user of the verification result. The challenge included creating a project idea, development, testing and presentation of the group's work within 36 hours. Narayanan's advisor is Professor Zhi-Li Zhang.
