Hunt Construction and University officials celebrated the topping out of the upcoming ATEC building last Thursday. Progress on the project has been nothing less than stunning. Anticipation continues to grow as this facility comes to fruition. The UT Dallas CommunityEmergency Response Team (CERT) will begin a new training class on Saturday,March 24. The 24 hours of training will take place over four days: March 24,March 25, March 31 and April 1. All classes are from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the EnvironmentalHealth and Safety building (SG), EHS Training Room. Volunteers include faculty,staff and students who complete the training course and participate in adisaster drill in order to become active team members. The training is free ofcharge. For more information about UT Dallas CERT or to sign up for the nextclass, e-mail cert@utdallas.edu.

RecycleMania Results for Week 1: UT Dallas recycled 37,700 pounds of paper, which means we recycled 3,780,000 sheets of paper and saved three trucks a trip to the landfill.

The Office of Administration at UT Dallas consists of the Vice President of Administration's office and departments responsible facilities; police; environmental health and safety; and portions of procurement and human resources management.
