critical study part 1
Barney Fife is a artifice, pure and simple, by all right he should be as normal as Andy, and yet he can't seem to get it together. Even though he lives in a swell town, has a swell Job, a swell best...

I think this is one of the biggest or at least busiest Mcdonalds in the world ,it sure seems that way, set on 42nd street between such tourist attractions as Madame Tussaunds wax museum and Mary Poppins. Walk through the door and you'll see a long counter about 8 registers deep, each with its own line, service is pretty quick, the only thing holding up the lines are the Patrons themselves, like one mom who wasn't happy with the toy in her child's happy meal, or language difficulties as the whole world comes to Time Square and by extension to this Mcdonalds, you might be on line with Japanese ,Germans , Italians etc. and none of them speak english, there are menus in all various languages which they hand to the tourists, and all this makes the lines go slow, but once you make it to the front of the line ,your food will arrive quickly. plenty of seating, there is even an upstairs level with extra seating. Place has a bathroom which is one of the few in all of the Time Square surroundings, not very big, for the men, one urinal, one stall, so you can imagine, but they keep it very clean, since they seem to clean it every half hour or so. In the summer they have an outside walk up window to order at, if you'd rather do it that way rather then go in and enjoy the air conditioning

Set in the Times Square area, the place is loaded with tourists from all over the world, its like the Tower of Babel with French Fries, walk inside and the first thing you see is a long counter fully staffed with about 10 associates manning registers , there are about 10 separate lines, the only thing that slows up the lines are the Patrons not the staff, as a lot of the Patrons do not speak english as they are tourists from the 4 corners of the world, when one of these poor souls reaches the register they are handed a special menu in the language of their choice, and then the comedy begins.
when you finally make it to the register yourself, you'll find you'll get your food by the time you get your money out of your wallet.
plenty of seating, with TV's set into the walls for your entertainment, and for the strong legged a quick walk up a flight of steps will give you even more seating and a nice view of 42nd street.
