We already have The Highline. One day we could have The #Lowline (an underground park). #GoogleCityExperts

If you are lucky enough to find parking in the Mission, you can reward yourself with Boba Guys! Horchata bubble tea, have you ever heard of such a thing? They also have really interesting tea drinks with cool colors and mixtures. Price is top shelf as this is a homemade product and not any of that powder stuff. Storefront is small and crowded with people. It's a good vibe.

Sutro Baths are a must see if you like urban exploring. It's part of San Francisco's history and you could see the ruins. Wear good shoes when you come here as the hike is steep and can be slippery. The views are lovely and on a clear day you can see the Golden Gate Bridge. If you keep walking you will eventually find yourself walking through a cave. Hear the ocean waves crash and you might even get a little wet.

One of the best places for Vietnamese food in the Bay. You gotta brave Oakland though. There is a small parking lot available. If not, you gotta risk it and park on the street by the houses. This place gets packed but the service is fast. The pho comes in a giant bowl. Great for sharing. Their porkchop is also very good.

Arepas Cafe is a really nice Venezuelan restaurant located in Astoria. Why bother going into Manhattan or Brooklyn when you can get just as decent arepas, if not better, in Queens? This is a great spot to check out if you are in the area, especially if paired with the movie theater or Museum of Moving Image. Try the empanadas for appetizer. They even have baby shark if you feel adventurous. For arepas the pabellon (beef, plantains, beans, and cheese) and reina (chicken with avocado) are sure bets.

Art's Cafe is one of those neighborhood establishments that you hope never change. It's a handy diner that also has Korean food. But it's the classics that keep people coming back. The banana walnut french toast is delicious as is the hashbrown sandwich with sausage, onions, and spinach. Not good for groups or small children as the seating is all counter.

Of all the Filipino restaurants in the area, House of Inasal is my favorite. The food is always great and there is something for everyone. You can get your own plate or share. The servings are ample. Try the mixed pancit, tapas and longanisa (with egg if you like), garlic rice, soups, and fresh lumpia. Service is good. Make sure to try the mango shake or any other of their many drinks.

Excellent accommodations if you are on a budget. We actually preferred this place as opposed to a fancy chain hotel. The room is a small apartment but with everything you need. We had a quaint kitchen separate from the bedroom, a patio, and modern bathroom. We were welcomed with fruit and cookies. If you need to store your luggage be careful, the luggage is kept out in the open at the front desk at your own risk.
