These cookies are so good! They may look unassuming, but the addition of malt powder to these cookies makes them the perfect blend of crispy and chewy. And while you don't need to dip them in chocolate... Scratch that. What am I saying? DO dip them in chocolate :)
I figured since it's been 364 days since I last posted a recipe with malt powder in it, it's time for another one. Yep, that's right. On March 17, 2014 I posted Chocolate Malt Cupcakes with Malted Buttercream. How's that for ...

A follow-up post to my Fresh Blueberry Curd, and something to use it in! Blueberry Cream Cupcakes- moist vanilla cake, filled with creamy blueberry curd, and all topped with the best whipped-cream frosting. These would be cute and delicious for Easter!

It's March Madness baby! (Said in my best Dick Vitale voice) What better way to kickoff the start of the NCAA tournament than with Buffalo Chicken Wings? Let me tell you, there is none! :)
Guess what today is?? Guess what day it is!! Today is the kickoff of the NCAA tournament, or "March Madness" as much of the country joyfully calls it. What better food to kick of the tournament than the official food of...

An Oregon Girl Taking a Bite Out of Kentucky
Introduction
I'm a 30-something food-lover, devoted to my family and fur babies. I love to be in the kitchen, I love everything about trying new flavors and foods. I graduated from college in 2005, and went straight to work for a large corporation. After 6 years of climbing the ladder, I realized that wasn't what I wanted my life to be. So here I am! In Kentucky, in the kitchen, and loving life.
