How Does 446,000 Jobs Added – 2.9 Million Jobs Lost = A Lower Unemployment Rate?

I wish Washington DC math applied in the everyday world! This would mean higher grades in school with little effort, higher taxes and bigger savings accounts with fewer dollars. How do we lose 2.9 Million jobs and claim that we added 446,000? Listen to me explain on this on this clip from my radio show, The Financial Physician.

What do you think of the math? Please chime in.

Its simply that despite us population growing by 1 million people each year, the gov managed to get the active part to reduce by 1.2 million since last year report.

More government meddling in the free market is taking place. Why would banks want to refi mortgages on homes with negative equity? How would this affect holders of existing mortgage backed securities? This is an election year scheme that would cost taxpayers billions when homeowners walk away from these new refinanced mortgages.

Would you throw more money into a bad investment you know will not give you a profit? Please share.

At last year’s Super Bowl, Christina Aguilera forgot one of the lines and ended up singing the same phrase twice!

Cyndi Lauper blew it at the 2011 US Open!

Michael Bolton forgot some words during an American League Championship!

This year, Kelly Clarkson gives it a shot at Super BowlXLVI.

Who would be your vote to sing the anthem this Super Bowl Sunday?

Will Kelly Blow it or will she nail it?

When will you start planning for your 2012 vacation?

Making just a few small adjustments NOW could mean the difference between a stay-at-home vacation at the local municipal park, or a full-blown trip of a lifetime.

Which would you prefer?

Here are just a few simple ways to save some money for that next

Good advice. These little "spendings" costs a lot a money. If you stay focused on your goal (vacation) it's a piece of cake to save money.

If you want to get clarity on how unemployment numbers work, there is no one better than those who explained baseball so clearly many decades ago. For you young folk, you may not know who Abbott and Costello were, but those of you, like me, who are showing our age, will appreciate this.

So, is unemployment currently 85% or is it 16%? You decide and let me know.

A drought across Texas and Oklahoma has made food and water scarce for cattle, which has kept herds small.

Beef prices soared more than 10 percent last year and they will likely go up at least another 5 percent this year, cutting into profits for butchers and budgets for families.

How has the increased cost of beef impacted your business or family budget?

I've definitely held off on eating meat again, that's for sure! I bought some ground beef for a special dinner and the small portion I purchased was incredibly expensive!

Why is Customer Service So Lousy! This is a great article to read before any travel and shopping.

Customer service is especially lousy in the travel business, where airlines and car rental companies seem to be competing to figure out who can make the most customers truly miserable.

What industries have you had bad customer service experiences with?
