Hello,

I am writing to you today to inform you of my shopping experience at
the Rouses Supermarket on 400 North Carrollton Ave, New Orleans,
Louisiana on August 10th 2014 when I was confronted by the security
guard, the store manager, and an angry guest. The angry guest began
pointing at me, telling the general manager that I had too heavily
tested the Axe Body Spray, thus disturbing his shopping experience,
and demanded that I pay for the Axe Body Spray. The security guard and
general manager then told me that if I did not purchase the product
that the police would be called.

I immediately called my lawyer who advised me to pay for the Axe Body
Spray as it would aid in our harassment case against Rouses
Supermarket. I told my lawyer that I was experiencing a panic attack
because of the event. At this time, I was feeling extremely
embarrassed and anxious because of this confrontation that was being
held in front of the entire store. My lawyer then advised me to make
an emergency call to my psychologist after paying for the Axe Body
Spray. After speaking with my lawyer, I then made an emergency call to
my wonderful psychiatrist who advised that I take the benzodiazepine
that he had prescribed me, then he guided me through the horrible
experience that followed the harassment I faced while shopping at the
Rouses Supermarket on 400 North Carrollton Ave, New Orleans, Louisiana
on August 10th 2014.

I am writing to you today inform you of the stressful confrontation
that I experienced on August 10th of 2014 at the Rouses Supermarket on
400 North Carrollton Ave, New Orleans, LA that has severely aggravated
my condition and caused a severely negative impact on my life. I can
no longer bare to enter Rouses Supermarket because of the fear of
experiencing a similar situation again. I have informed my friends,
family, and acquaintances of this event in an attempt to protect them
from being subjected to the experience that I have had at the Rouses
Supermarket on 400 North Carrollton Ave, New Orleans, LA on August
10th of 2014.

PS

I normally shop at Whole Foods Market, where sampling items is not a
problem. I will only shop at my local Whole Foods Market from this day
further. I will recommend to others to avoid Rouses Supermarkets and
share my story with them.

We've got family to visit, plastic eggs to find, and chocolate bunnies to eat, so we're closing up shop. Have a great afternoon!

Making Groceries since 1960
Introduction
Growing up helping in his father's produce shipping business, Anthony Rouse was raised with an affinity for fresh, local products. In 1960, he and his cousin, Ciro DiMarco, opened a small, 4,000 square foot grocery store in Houma, Louisiana.  50 years and 38 stores later, Anthony's sons and now his grandchildren are still following that same focus on local.  Rouses is known in the grocery industry for its local flair and competitive spirit with a commitment to everyday low prices.
