At BJ's last night 4/11/14 after my daughter's musical debut. We ordered calamari (just rings) and best beginnings for apps and that came hot and delish! My dad had the jambalaya and requested no spicy (or very little spicy) - he loved it. My mom had asian chopped salad - she loved it. Hubby had ribeye with baked potato and tomato/mozzarella salad - his steak came medium rare instead of medium, but no problem they fixed it right away. His pale ale chili was good too. Kids had pepperoni pizza and mini burgers - no complaints. I had the thai mango and avocado salad. I saw a sprinkling of cayenne pepper around my plate which made me a little nervous. No worries, it didn't make it too spicy, it was delish! No room for dessert. We enjoyed the meal. Thanks to our server Bill!

OK, here's what $40+ carry out gets you, 10 chicken McNuggets (described on menu as Boneless Chicken Wings Glazed in Teryaki Sauce (NOT). The sauce in a plastic container was actually a hot pepper sauce. I swear to God the "wings" were breaded chicken chunks EXACTLY like McD's. Have you seen a chicken with round wings? An 8 oz. top sirloin requested as "very rare" (actually served almost medium well, we took pictures). A red wine and mushroom sauce with no crumpled blue cheese as advertised. Cold mushy wedge fries, about 12. My dog spat one out and she eats ANYTHING. McDonalds can get hot fries carried out, what's the problem BJ? I will say the Ceaser salad was OK, did have some anchovies along. But that's because they really are Pizza Parlor. The beer (a microbrew) was acceptable and my wife's dessert satisfying. My wife called the manager, Brandon, who apparently responded positively and apologized, but was only able to offer gift cards in compensation. Let's see, more of the same crappy food in compensation for crappy food. Almost Kafkaesque.. Maybe BJ's problem is carry out. And it does make it impractical to return the "dinner". Maybe they should stick to table service and get that right. The chains like BJ's are the problem. Cookie cutter franchises with no real interest in quality service, just hit those numbers and turn the tables. New faces every other week. On it goes. If I am really hungry perhaps the gift cards will get used, or maybe I'll re-gift them but with a warning. No more money out of my pocket. Now if the cards even arrive...

The third time I went my dads burgers was forgotten and undercooked and our fries were soaked in grease. But overall the food and service was excellent

Fun place to go with family or friends anytime of the day. Great menu, desserts and drinks (non-alcoholic, wine & beer). We've always had good experience with friendly service. Our dining experience extend from Northern and Southern California.

The most 2 star place ever. Mediocre food. Mediocre/ poor service. Long waits and mediocre beer at a brewhouse. I can absolutely understand why this place is filled with Affliction shirts.
