Thought I'd see what all the commotion was about Pokemon Go. I'll say I was immediately flashing back to my Ingress days when I saw who the developer was. Then this happened and it was an immediate uninstall.

+Natali Morris and +Clayton Morris, watched Natali's segment about STEM toys and thought I'd share some other fun stuff. If your kids are into Star Wars or Inside Out, there are some fun things that Made With Code and Hour of Code have partnered with Disney on to help kids learn to code:

Our boys (mostly the almost 4-year-old) also enjoy using Scratch (https://scratch.mit.edu/) on a tablet as well. Haven't really done guided stuff with them, but it is fun to just let them mess around with it.

The greatest memory I will have of Scott Weiland is being able to see him perform as the frontman for STP with my wife of four months at the Raleigh Amphitheater in October of 2010. I've listened to them since the early 90's and my little boys love to rock to classic STP as much as I do.

Really appreciate the subtle page animation in the +Google Play Books app. It makes the flat slide in other apps seem a little cold. Free comics for those interested: https://goo.gl/17U8Zs

Had a great time sharing +Project Tango with some fifth-graders at Northside Elementary today as part of their Maker Faire. It was awesome to see the moment when they realized this "tablet" was "seeing" in 3-D. We talked about how we see, how we know we've moved, and how a computer uses sensors to do roughly the same things. Even though the time was short it seemed like the two lessons I was trying to get across were received by at least a few.

1. Being a "maker" can be about coming up with something new and innovative OR can be about putting existing things together in a new and innovative way.
2. It is never too early to start doing things you're passionate about.

Half a day with my new +Nexus 6P from +Huawei and I am really appreciating the differences between it and my Nexus 6. Highlights include: the fingerprint sensor to unlock/wake up, camera is great (will do some comparison shots soon), dimensions are more hand-friendly, +Android M improvements, audio output, and the display.

*Update: the charging is also pretty amazing (20% to full in just under an hour it seems, but will pay more attention next time).

Have a quick two-question comment poll for software engineers out there. What methodology/framework do you or your company follow for projects? Is there a particular methodology that would attract you to work for a company? Comment below with your answers.
