Camp Talahi is a beautiful site that feels like it is a million miles away from cities and traffic even though it's just a few minutes from downtown Brighton. It's an incredible place for a weekend retreat, wedding, or graduation party. I started going to the summer church camps in 1990 through my UCC church and stayed on as a CIT and Camp Counselor. Summer Camps are the real sleepaway camp experience in a small atmosphere--with only 60 kids at a time, campers get lots of attention to their individual needs and really build community with the rest of the campers. It's a pretty magical experience.
