Most of you are looking for life & business to be perfect.

You have expectations that once you have the right strategy, people, partners & execution it will all fall into place.

And at some point you got all of those things - you thought that would be “it”.

That’s when you realized it wasn’t perfect. So what did you do?

You changed your strategy. You got different people. You fired your vendors and got new ones.

THEN you knew you had it right! It would be different this time.

But It wasn’t.

Why?

There is no strategy, execution, people or partners that are perfect. At some point it won’t work, they will fail, and you’ll be disappointed.

So what do you do?

Change your expectations. Realize everything in life is ups and downs. Zigs and zags. Ebbs and flows.

Realize that what you’re actually looking for, what you really need to meet your goals isn’t something flawless. It’s having a strategy, people, partners & execution there are FLEXIBLE.

You want a strategy that pushes you outside of your comfort zone and wins consistently overtime - not every day.

You want people that are resilient. That are willing to admit failure, learn quickly and move forward.

You want an execution that can pivot quickly and adapt based on new information.

You want partners that aren’t just vendors but resilient people with the willingness to admit mistakes, not defeat.

Stop looking for perfect. It doesn’t exist. Because if you do you’ll live in a 12-24 month loop experiencing the same disappointments over and over - the only thing that will change are the names and faces.
