So, a friend of mine who has made some great synths sent along a link to a vst that he said sounds better than his real DX7.  I played one instance and was amazed how good it actually sounded.  How about 8 of them like the yamaha TX816?  The picture here is 8 instances of DEXED in Reaper each loaded with its' respective TX816 factory bank.  Total cpu impact, 1.3%.  This DX7 emulation is lean and mean!!!

I think for any universal epistomology there is probably a perfect beginning and this opener should be quantities.

Weirdingmodule.com has now made the Casio MT-68 sample library available in SFZ 2.0 format. SFZ is an open text based format for which many free players on multiple platforms exist. Check out http://www.weirdingmodule.com/ for more info!

Cool, yeah I don't mean to dissuade you. $400 for that hunk of computin glory would be hard to pass up.
I guess I'm just thinking that it's day has passed and cleaning key contacts is a pain.
If you have a history with it and think you can maintain it by using it often then go for it!
They really don't make 'em like they used to and it would be impossible to find a better keybed if it's in good shape.
On top of that you have all of the other crazy shit that thing does - it could probably be programmed to mow your yard and make a damn fine moscow mule among other things - I wouldn't be at all surprised..

I was able to test their software and contribute a track I composed to an album of music made with Chipspeech, Automate Songs .01:

I'm from Vermont. There, in some stores that sell BJ there is a special freezer with factory seconds at a discount. Usually too much of something like white chocolate. This Salt and Straw location is a tourist trap with an excessive line around the block and wait time. Hard ice cream on the west coast. The shop entrance is single file (baby carriages) and the flavor board is on the wrong wall which is why a printed menu is offered outside because you can't read the board until a server says can I get you a sample of anything? I don't know yet I'm just reading the board now. The ice cream is expensive but delicious if you get any in between the chunks of gourmet candy. After my 2 scoops I had a pile of candy crap in my dish which was after I tried eating it. Right in the garbage. This icecream is as good as homeade if you let your 6 year old child mix the ingredients. Great potential. Not as good as BJ seconds which is now corporate shlock. BJ is up the street. No line, air conditioned with QA on the product.

Delicious pho with fantastic service and style! This has become a favorite spot for my girlfriend and I. The host is absolutely adorable and hospitable. I usually get P8, because I AM the man! Highly recommended!

Too much space, strangely quiet. Then muffled voices behind plastic. Hurroh...

You are a douche if you go here. In portland, you have no class culture or reason to go to the marathon unless you ate a loser frat bastard. Without a single exception it has delivered to my expectations of the Worst Bar of Portland OR. It is on a strip of bullshit on burnside worth driving through. The city even puts up signs that say no left turn in case you want to stop.
