Reminder: YouTube Featured Playlists and Videos will be going away tomorrow
YouTube Creator update: In-video notifications of a Featured Video or Playlist will be discontinued December 14

Recently, we’ve taken a look at how successful the interactive bar is and how often people actually use it. We’ve come to realize that very few actually click on it. In fact, only one in twenty people click on the suggested link. Even worse, for the small percentage of users who do click on the link, they’re often taken to a live stream that no longer exists. As a result, many folks complain that it feels like spam.

That’s why, just like with paid channels and annotations, we’ll be removing the ability to promote a featured video, playlist or live stream via these in-video notifications starting on December 14, 2017.

You can still promote your videos and playlists on your channel using Cards and End Screens

Or add links to the video description

Google Duo video call integration with the Android Phone app

If you are in a phone call with a number registered to Duo, you will see the "Video Call" option.

The switch to a Duo call is mostly seamless. After hitting the button, both ends of the call will launch the Duo app with the caller's camera being automatically active with the Knock-Knock feature. The recipient can choose to accept the video call or decline. There aren't any audio tones or clues that this is happening, so it's easy for the recipient to miss if they're not watching the screen. Just remember to say something if you're going to use this.

Starting early next year, YouTube Analytics will be the only place to check your earnings and ad metrics
AdSense will stop displaying YouTube metrics early next year

AdSense stopped displaying estimated earnings from YouTube in 2013. They do still show some other metrics, however those may not provide an accurate picture of the activity on your ads.

Instead you should be looking at your YouTube Analytics Revenue Report and Ad Rates Report for details about your earnings and activity on your ads.

If you are a YouTube Partner, you should see this notification and a banner in your AdSense account.

Combine the terms! AND, OR, NOT

You can refine your search to include multiple queries or exclude certain terms by using logic operators. Enter these operators in all capital letters.

NOT can be replaced with a minus.
You don't need to include AND to search for multiple operators.
Try these:

from:google from:home has:video before:2016/12/31

from:116899029375914044550 NOT has:attachment

from:"Google Cloud" -has:attachment

Send feedback to Google+ by clicking the "Report a Problem or Feedback link on the left menu.
Advanced search operators

Over the next few days, we'll be rolling out advanced search operators to the Google+ search box to assist you in refining your Google+ search queries. For example, I typed from:"Ina Gat" has:photo commenter:me into the search box and rediscovered this nice bokeh shot from +Ina Gat.

You can search for posts that have particular attachments (like has:poll), posts where you were mentioned (like mention:me), posts before or after a date (like before:2016-04-01), posts in communities or collections, and more! You can even use operators like AND, NOT, and OR.
