We don't get rain, a drought is declared. We get heavy rain in droughted areas (it's a real word now, alright?) and this is apparently the wrong kind of rain. Other than not fixing water leaks, what exactly fucking use is United Utils? Excuses similar to the rail service (wrong kind of leaves on the track, anyone?) they seem to be of no use whatsoever! I just don't get it.
Flood warnings are in force in south-west England, which is in drought, while northern and eastern Scotland have been placed on flood alert.
