The students on Auraria campus met with professors Mudge and Morris, in Spring 1986, to discuss the Ten Key Values as theoretical presuppositions. Thirty years later, I could not be more proud to be a Green. Go Green in 16

Enclosed is the email sent to our Mayor.
Honorable Mayor Hancock:
The media portrayed the sweeps to take place on Lawerence Street in front of Samaritian House. Some of our houseless brothers and sisters relocated to the site of Resurrection Village whereby again they encountered a second sweep in less then 24 hours. Houseless people are already experiencing trauma so under your sweep orders, are being retraumaitized.
On behalf of DHOL denverhomelessoutloud.com, we again implore you to immediately call off the sweeps. The sweeps are in our opinion for the business community. To the houseless this is home. They felt a sense of safety amongst each other.
You saw on tv Amanda Henderson of the Interfaith Alliance speak on this inhumane treatment. John Parvensky's statement of criminalization not being the answer.
History is being written as our mayor these sweeps are being ordered and taking place as a bandaid on a epidemic of houseless brothers and sisters constantly being treated inhumanely. Along with the criminalization of their attempting to survive in public space.
On behalf of DHOL denverhomelessoutloud.com we again implore an immediate stop to these sweeps. We are glad to see that $19.3 HUD grant allocated towards affordable housing as our motto is KEYS NOT HANDCUFFS. Looking forward to working with you.
Sincerely,
DHOL
