I am really late this year, but I just planted my seeds yesterday using our seed starting kit. I planted tomatoes, peppers and eggplants. Hint: Once your plants begin to grow be sure to turn the light on and keep it close to the top of your plants. That way you will not get leggy, yellow plants. As the plants grow, raise the light.

Trying to landscape a new spot in your yard? Confused about what to plant? I found this neat little tool. You start at the first page and choose one of 4 options: bird, dry shade, butterfly or moist sun gardens. You are then asked for your region and conditions. Then, out pops a shopping list of plants. Perfect!
