Went for the first time for a business lunch. The staff was incredible and the food was great. Next time I am in Kirkland and hungry I will definitely be stopping by.

Has the blackened chicken sandwich. Pretty good except I prefer softer buns. Excellent service.

Over the years I've enjoyed eating at Hector's from time to time for brunch on the weekends. I like the decor and have liked the dishes -- especially the crab meat eggs Benedict. But the past two visits have been depressingly similar. The Eggs Benedict order was delivered just barely warm with poached eggs hard-boiled. The first time I commented but declined the offer to re-do -- I was hungry & didn't have time to wait. The second time I sent back half of the order which was then re-done the right way -- warm and with eggs properly poached. I asked if the orange juice was fresh squeezed and was assured it was. But I can taste fresh-squeezed and the juiced tasted like what I would get out of a carton. When I asked again, the waitress told me that the orange juice was squeezed elsewhere and sent to Hectors. "Fresh squeezed"? I don't eat brunch often. The next time I will go elsewhere.

Hector's has been around forever in kirkland. It has a very cozy bar/lounge setting. There are old and big chairs and there is a warm fireplace. Food is decent but overpriced unless you are there for happy hour.

This is the place to take your parents who don't want any surprises with their food. The best part is breakfast until 3 on the weekends. I had some great pumpkin pancakes the other day. One of my favorite sandwiches is the Portobello mushroom. I was really surprised at how good the food was. They are always super nice to my mom when she comes in with her walker.

Dissapointing all around. Our waiter (Tyler?) was aggressively trying to upsell us the whole time. My friend wanted the salmon burger at first and he actually tried to criticize her choice and then of course upsell her to the salmon dish. I ordered the wedge salad without almonds and ranch dressing. It came with almonds and with blue cheese dressing, and then the waiter tried to tell me it was ranch dressing and in fact, their ranch and blue cheese taste almost exactly the same. Where on this planet does that happen? It doesnt, and this guy was lying to cover his butt. Eventually I ordered the meatloaf, and it was gross. I fed it to my dog, she loved it.
