+ng-europe was an amazing experience. The AngularJS community is great, I really felt a lot of positive energy back there. The future does look quite bright for web development... Can't wait!

ng-Europe was an amazing gathering of Angular talent and ideas. Even more important was the overwhelming  enthusiastic, positive energy about the growth and vision of next-gen AngularJS.

I can honestly summarize my thoughts by saying if you thought AngularJS 1.x was good, then wait until Angular 2.x BLOWS your mind.

And while that Angular 2 is incubating, here are the slides +Max Lynch and I presented: "Introducing Angular Material"; which is the Google AngularJS 'reference implementation' for Google's Material Design visual design language.

When the YouTube video is available, I will update this news with a video recording link:

Regular priced tickets for +ng-europe are on sale now!  From the speed of the initial early-bird sales they may sell quite quickly.

It's about time! The v2.0.0 stable release of AngularStrap codenamed bugfree-octo-batman has just landed! With no external dependency except the Twitter Bootstrap CSS styles, AngularStrap is lighter and faster than ever, leveraging the power of ngAnimate from AngularJS 1.2+! You can easily add awesome animations (or use the bundled ones from http://mgcrea.github.io/angular-motion).

During the beta, 365 commits landed from 17 contributors! Thanks to all the testers that made this release happen.

You can check the updated docs here:

And the changelog here :

Have fun with AngularJS!

Took the time to test Gulp this weekend and I'm really liking this new pure-nodejs oriented build approach. Streams do fit really very well for this, it's way better than the grunt sequence-oriented task system.  I've published a few gulp plugins for AngularJS builders (ngtemplate/nginclude tooling).

I've successfully migrated the complex build process of AngularStrap (you can have a look there: https://github.com/mgcrea/angular-strap/blob/master/gulpfile.js), a pleasant experience.

Had some fun with Vagrant and Ansible this week-end and released WebPlaybooks! It's a set of playbook roles to orchestrate your web servers. Vagrant is used to quickly test and iterate against local dev boxes.

Tada! The v2.0.0-rc.1 release of AngularStrap codenamed massive-octo-adventure has just landed! Adding both datepicker & timepicker directives to the new codebase.

The existing v1.x codebase has now been fully migrated to 1.2+ native directives. And we're getting ready for the first v2 stable release and will focus on code-coverage & touch-ready animations in the next few weeks.

You can check the updated docs here:

And the changelog here :

To all HTML5 builders out there, AngularStrap v2.0.0-beta.1 is out! Rewritten from the ground-up to leverage AngularJS 1.2+ animations with Twitter Bootstrap 3+.

Have a look at the updated docs ;-). Feedbacks and PR welcome.

Just published a grunt task to embed your static ngIncludes in your production files. Definitely needed this for the AngularStrap docs!

Hope it can be useful to someone.

Interested by any other alternative grunt-task approach if they exist.
