Taking the classroom outdoors - Classrooms can become stale both for students and teachers, sometimes its just better to head outside into the fresh air. At this time of the year the climate in Northern Thailand lends itself perfectly to this, as our recent volunteer Marta found out. If you think you have got what it takes to assist teaching English in a rural school please feel free to contact us on info@volunteers-without-borders.org. Hope to see you down at the school soon!

If you would like to be part of our growing success then please get in touch info@volunteers-without-borders.org. A fantastic Day spent with Volunteers at Sanpatong Farmstay,Chiang Mai, November 2014. A day full of cultural interaction and mutual learning, it involved a Thai cooking school using organic ingredients from the farm followed by Teaching English at a local school.

Finally, after a long wait, we have completed the exterior structure for our Bamboo mega structure (Sustainable Agriculture Training Centre ) in Sanpatong, Chiang Mai, Thailand, before the wet season sets in. The Building is absolutely stunning, especially with the backdrop of looming stormy clouds. The building will serve as an educational facility for both local communities and for international students and volunteers. Watch this space! #bamboo #bamboomegastructure #Chiangmai #Thailand #sustainable #community #Bambooroo

After a dry few months the first rains came earlier this week, they will be slow to begin with but will increase in frequency over the next couple of months. Then its time to get busy planting. Join us on one of our planting projects to support our school lunch initiative . If you are looking for an interesting project for your group or organisation we can help you find just what you are looking for.
